Half the people in this thread want it to go because of not many good reasons other than "you guys aren't real facepunchers, the true facepunch community doesn't want your weird shit here" The poll is damn near 50% for some reason or another, this feels less like the community purging something that obviously doesn't belong and more like da kool kids don't want their clubhouse to have the people they don't like in it. Which happens to be a lot of people.

Only on NSFW threads is it okay to post smut as long as it mostly follows the general guidelines.
I don't see why everyone should be forced to go to another website to discuss what they want if there is enough of a population here that is willing to discuss it. The existence of these kinds of threads doesn't mean you have to read them. If you don't want to see these threads, don't click on their title. Win-win for everyone.

Some of us (as cringey as it sounds) grew up with this community (like myself) and to see the current state it is in now with harboring/encouraging this kind of demented fucked up shit to be posted and shared is depressing. The WTYO thread and other weird porn threads are like someones fucking gym bag pushed into the corner of an office. It holds back some fucked up shit in there but the stench still manages to permeate throughout the fucking place regardless.

As someone said there's people who come here for their issues with rust/gmod who could then stumble across the porn threads in FT and it looks kind of bad on the forum admittedly. Personally I think ban all porn threads rather than just the WTYO thread, along with porn avatars as well since I'm sick of seeing them.
