As stated before, the cons of the WTYOTM thread outweigh the "pros" if the thread The thread' s existence causes controversy and puts facepunch at risk for illegal porn related content and the fact that minors have easy access to it. As long as NSFW threads like this exist, we'll continue having an argument over the topic, no matter how the users of those threads actually act in there, even if they're strongly against loli or bestiality because nobody cares about how they really are because they "give facepunch a bad name." It's kind of a good thing that this is going on because it could mean a slow and gradual change to make facepunch a "more wholesome" place, and this argument will probably be forgotten long after this, just becoming a wiki article. I'm only debating now because I don't particularly agree with some of the arguments provided by the against side such as: "All those degenerates are wrong in the head," or that "they're all advocates of child/animal porn" because those accusations aren't necessarily true.

But I think it's facial features/structure. I look at a loli's face and a mature anime girl's face. They're the same thing, and vastly different from a real girl's face. In real people, a child's face is quite unique to a child, and the brains of the vast majority of people are hardwired into not being turned on by it, this is why paedophilia is considered a mental disorder. That isn't there in drawn stuff. Personally, if someone jacks it to loli or whatever but in reality finds real children revolting, I have a hard time thinking of them as a paedophile because they are, by definition, not one. Are there people who like loli porn that have a bit of actual CP hidden deep in their hard drive? Certainly. Are these people the majority? I have only been on this particular forum for like two months but I have been a part of many, many internet communities and honestly most of my time on the internet is spent on 4chan, specifically /a/ and /v/. So, I like to believe I am making an educated guess when I say 'I highly doubt it'. Can people be almost creepy in their defence of their porn? Yes.
