Ugh, the vitriol in this thread flung about between both sides (though the naysayers are more, much more to be blamed on this front) is a surprise even compared to some of the shit I've seen thus far on the forum. Naysayers: [b]We get it, the consensus is that peoples' fetishes are weird to you and you think they should no longer be on Facepunch.[/b] Most of us fence-sitters even agree that porn dumps are a lot of trouble in the current environment of FP and even the mods couldn't be arsed to deal with the shit that might arise from it. This is literally one of the few points on the side of the naysayers that I agree with that isn't 'dogfuckers get b& lmao' which is kind of what has been repurposed so many times in this thread in so many formats that it's no longer funny anymore. You have no business being condescending and insulting towards people with different preferences, much less different opinions. Also I've seen a lot of out of context cherry picking and past shaming coming from this side that hasn't been used once by those on the side of letting porn dumps stay. Who died and made you God to decide what people should and shouldn't like and try to tar all people with fetishes as being potential sexual offenders? This isn't a proper style of argument by any means, it's just ad hominem in a different format. The crowd who thinks porn should remain: The general idea is that with so much of it around, there's always going to be some few illegals who slip through the cracks. Also a lot of the stuff in WTYO can be considered downright weird for a fair few people who aren't into that kind of fandom. The garry argument is also moot because he tends to flip-flop a lot over this kind of thing, he likes to start shit sometimes to be funny, and most importantly; [b]Rules can be changed.[/b] Note that I've personally got nothing against any of you guys - I've always been an each to his own kind of guy. The problem is each time the threads have been closed and reopened, as stated many times before in the thread, something illegal or borderline crops up and there's that. It's simply too much trouble for a moderator, or even a group of moderators, to weed out all the instances of this kind of thing taking place. It is to also be noted that the mod team are 100% behind the removal of WTYO and threads like it - they've given up attempting to police it, and are simply imposing the blanket ban because this way, we won't see any illegal shit turning up. In this case, there will be a few people, that is to say you, inconvenienced. It's how it works - there's almost never a common consensus when it comes to this kind of subject. However, I thank you for trying to provide well thought out and reasonable arguments from your side for the most part. To sum up; at this point I personally feel that the thread is running its course, and the majority have already decided.

Every gaming forum has one or multiple non-gaming subforums. Because you make friends with similar hobbys on a forum,and you might want to talk to them or other people with similar hobby's on said forum.
