That's not what I was trying to point out. Beyond the fact that it's not really fair to compare media comments to forum posts, because it's not, I was just trying to dismiss you saying "No wait, actually FA is a similar place to WTYO and even can be normal" because it's (usually) not.

The question isn't "what are people in WTYO" going to do. It's what Facepunch is going to do. I'm pretty certain (ie rampant assumption) most actives from WTYO don't give a shit if it tanks, but don't want a double-standard in allowing other NSFW content and would actively enjoy a cleaner forum if that's the route that's taken.

By talking like a normal person? It's not rocket science. It's only weird if one party is uncomfortable with it. If two parties are comfortable about their sexual behavior, there's not really anything weird talking about it. I'm extremely comfortable with my sexuality, which is why those threads don't really phase me at all. I like hearing about differing view-points and maybe why someone likes something that I don't, because it builds understanding, which in turns makes other sides less gross/disturbing/weird, [I]even[/I] if I don't ever come to accept them.

No. You can ignore artwork that you don't like, which is the equivalent of a forum thread, but ignoring a post isn't the same thing.

Forums work better than chats, because you can reply over a long period to things said while you were not present.

It is unreasonable to ask that a thread here prove why it should stay. Instead the argument is about why it should be removed, so using 'prove your worth' is not an argument to that end. There is no merit to asking why we can't go somewhere else. It is up to you to prove why the thread is a problem.

1.) Garry is in support of porn threads. When all the mods agreed to remove it Garry was like "nope"

I remember a mod who kept getting spammed with message bitching at him for removing a porn thread. Hhe had to bring it back up to make it stop.

I absolutely agree with this but it still has to be moderated, this thread has already shown that pretty grim pictures go unreported in the WTYO, I doubt they will be reporting regular NSFW pictures if they don't report loli stuff or that cub shit that kept getting posted here. The reasons you think it should be banned, before snipping the cute little "thanks", afterwards are so hilariously vague that I just had to rate you useful. Bystander Effect applies to all threads and is an overarching problem when moderators don't want to do their job somewhere, not that they should have to. The Facepunch comment also applies 100% to every other NSFW thread and avatar.

I got shit to do, so I'm gonna bail instead of listing out points - but I'm still really failing to see any solid argument directed at WTYO that does not also apply to other NSFW threads. I see great ones on both spectrum otherwise and would support them, but just ditching WTYO and calling a victory, which is what this poll is about, is a half-assed measure that wouldn't fix half of the problems these past 115 pages have been bitching about.
