Long story but in the end it was deleted because nearly every thread was filled with drama and the RPers were all really trigger happy when it came to reporting, resulting in a VERY annoyed Postal (at least I think it was postal)

Nor should they have to.
NSFW shouldn't get its own section because it's a niche demographic when compared to the rest of the forums sections, and it gives others the impression of "HEY, WE NEEDED A FUCKING PORN SUBFORUM TO KEEP THIS CONTAINED."
NSFW shouldn't have volunteer moderators because even if they wanted to moderate that kind of shit, those threads will still get drama and complaints, and this vote will happen all over again.

I've bothered discussing it a bit because this poll isn't just killing that thread, though I honestly don't think is a very bad thing considering all that's gone on in there. If the mods do what they say they're going to do, all furry or not "regular" porn can be removed just because reasons. The forums won't be a sfw place, other threads will remain. It's just getting rid of furry or other fetish threads because they're icky. All the wonderful points about how trying to moderate nsfw content isn't good for the site don't actually matter, there will still be porn.
We're just going to alienate those guys because they're freaks, apparently. This is the only real reason I can gather for only banning just that one strain of pron.

It's not about me only addressing the easiest point that he had. It's that is the only point he posted that was relevant. my argument wasnt about making the forum family friendly or purifying it this kid is just making assumptions so i'll ignore the majority of his dumb post.

The true reason is because moderators don't want to dig through content they may or may not find unsavory so they can ban&snip illegal content or content against the rules such as loli because they would have to actually confirm that it's loli/illegal content.
