Should we allow the weird porn threads (IE: "What turns you on" type threads with furry/vore/beastia

At least for me it isnt a porn thread, nsfw content is very rarely posted because its really not wanted, most of the people who lurk it would rather have them accumulated in one place instead of having to trawl through danbooru and pixiv to find crap, and half of that is lewd anyway.

I'd be all for nuking it as well if it spawned a no tolerance version, but tbh I honestly think its already there

I don't think it will matter much since the vote is already pretty clearly on that side, but I would like to swap my vote to a No.

It's become increasingly clear over the last few days that the weird shit isn't staying in just that thread, the mods don't want to mod it, and following this discussion there's been far too much immaturity from users for me to be willing to support it. Especially with the amount of dubious material being posted since the debate started. This should have been a time to clean up the thread not make it worse. There is no compromise to be had as neither side is willing.

The drama won't go away even if it sticks around and I think at this point it's better to just say good bye and be done with it, other wise there will just be another poll and wave of drama in a month or two.

I hope to see another poll soon on removing porn in general, or if nothing else at least proper regulation on NSFW avatars. Then this could honestly be called a clean site to visit.

You may be right, but I, and alot of other people who have been cordial earlier on in the thread before it turned into essentially an anti furry fest, don't think such threads have any place on the forums. There are many other aggregate websites for pornography in general and specific, and having facepunch host them is kinda weird. If you absolutely honestly want to have a fetish showcase available on the forums, there is one in the form of DAAS, and you get to laugh along with the bad art with none the wiser.

And the final consideration is the moderators. I sure as hell would not browse porn threads to filter illegal/creepy content even if paid, and i'm sure neither do the moderators.

Literally only rule for the thread was "You're walking on very thin ice with loli"

Most things in that thread aren't black and white when it comes to age. And all of a sudden "did you know that according to canon that robot you posted is actually designed to be a 16 y/o?" became enough reason to perma-ban people.

A few hours ago, until I had pointed it out, someone posted a 16 year old robot chick and it had 2 agree posts, plus there were people trying to defend that the post wasn't in violation of the rules.

"Report -> it gets removed.", if I hadn't entered the thread to see the drama and noticed that the show was "My Life As A Teenage Robot", that would have gotten past the mods(because they don't want to moderate that thread), so that doesn't exactly work when people SUPPORT the member violating the rules.

So much about shitposting and furry-hate, naive to say such things.
