I think porn avatars should be banned because you can see them anywhere on the site, even when you click an obviously SFW link. I don't think threads should be banned, because the weird porn threads USUALLY have a pretty good name telling you that they're porn. It's your fault if you click it and you're greeted with a picture of a McDonald's pumpkin pie getting fucked by a Swedish body-builder. I can see how it could get hard to moderate a thread like that though.

After reading this thread I think there can be a compromise. Keep the porn thread but keep it tame.
