I would think that those that don't hold the same interests would be good sports too, but all I've seen are people being assholes. The friggin' definition of sportsmanship is to not be a shithead when you win/lose, and treat the competitor(s) with respect.

I understand that this is the internet and that my expectations for people might be too high, but so far it's just been one in-group being buttholes to another in-group and some serious Us vs Them mentality going on.

If the people that really want to get together and share their weird porn, they can go make a steam group or visit another forum since the mods aren't going to go back on their decision. There's no good reason to call them names or chant "gg, now get the fuck out" just because they like things that you don't.

Everyone has the capacity to be civil, and how you act to people that aren't like you or people that you don't like really shows a lot about a person.
