I voted yes because I haven't been there in a long time, not since the "wierdest boners" thread, which got closed because, well you probably know; and I just remember it being a strange thread that people posted cartoon sharks and other strange fetishes like feet in. I don't really care about it being here.

The thread is not filled with harmful content likes it's claimed to be. It's not filled with child porn. It's not a haven of bestiality. The people that frequent it are not all horrible creeps. Illegal content is [I]not [/I]accepted there, it is [I]against the rules[/I] and it would be [I]removed[/I]. So... What's the deal?
What this ultimately boils down it is that people are voting against it for reasons or personal disgust. It's a single thread that is not mandatory reading in any way. If you don't have any reason to be there, if you don't want to see what is posted there, don't open the thread and it might as well not even exist. And now people are resorting to creating alts to bolster votes or slanderize the thread's frequenters by saying they're child porn enthusiasts. Why? Is that fact that some people want a thread for hentai and furry shit really causing you personal emotional or mental trauma? Why are you all trying to remove it when it's not forced upon you in any real way?
The way I see it: This vote is silly. It is pointless because the only people that are effected by its existence is Facepunch Studios. Not the users. The users are not obligated to read it. They are not represented as a whole by its contents. These are Facepunch Studios official forums and their image is what's on the line. And should it come to the point where Garry doesn't want a thread like that to exist on his forums, then it should be his executive decision to make.
