I don't see what problems would be solved by banning the threads. To my (non-omniscent, personal, subjective, based-on-experience) knowledge, they haven't caused any problems so far. I can see banning them creating problems, however. No use starting shit if it won't solve any, I say.

Other than the avatars, the weird porn seems to be nicely confined to their respective threads. I won't say anything on the porn avatars, however, because that's an entirely different debate, however.

I feel like a significant portion of the people voting "no" want to remove porn threads in general, and I think we need to segue this into an actual discussion about all porn threads instead of just a select few.

In my opinion, there's no reason to remove the weird porn threads from the forum.

The people there aren't that vile or disgusting, there's a lack of extreme content and things that would REALLY offend people, and those things are frowned upon there. It's practically a furry porn thread anyways with some "normal" porn thrown in occasionally.

However, NSFW or slightly NSFW avatars need to be toned down since others use these forums who aren't interested in seeing your porn/fetish whenever they look at your avatar.

While facepunch doesn't need these weird porn threads, there's no reason to really remove them, as it's the choice of the user to go into those types of threads, and nobody is forced into those threads.
