Should we allow the weird porn threads (IE: "What turns you on" type threads with furry/vore/beastia

May I pitch in? I don't like the idea of such threads either, but I dont think they do enough harm nor are the cesspits that people seem to talk about. I just jumped into the thread about a hundred pages back, and aside from some very odd fetishes, I dont see anything overtly offensive or objectionable. As long as such threads make very clear what is going to be in them and have the obnoxious NSFW banner, then people like me can make the choice to not look at them. I would agree for their removal if porn was leaking out of it into other areas of the forums, but from what i've seen, it hasn't.

I wish they could be ousted from popular or something cause I kinda dont want to see them there at all.

I would rather not have a 'no nsfw/porn' rule on facepunch because I've seen plenty funny/entertaining/interesting/shocking nsfw things here, whether it be a video of beheadings or some chicks asshole being compared to pingu.

Since it doesn't effect me banning dedicated pornography threads would be okay since it doesn't effect me (principally I disagree with it, but I can live with it just fine.)

But outright banning all adult content would be dumb, and I fear that community votes like these will encourage the mods to be overly stringent on certain things that otherwise would be fine imo.
