Otherwise, they would have shared it with the people on those other websites instead of this one.

Ever watched a political vote? They do "exit polls" and start reporting on the likelihood of results within a few hours of poll booths opening. The current ratio (unless there is a stark difference between people's opinions in different time zones or during that time someone figures out how to stack the vote) is probably quite accurate.
