Here's a lil' anecdote: I joined this forum when I was 10 years old. In 2005 facepunch, there was no freaky porn. I think I turned out pretty well adjusted considering that. But look at all these new posters - who probably were 10 years old in 2009, 2010, 2011 etc - who have stated that they're underage (a few of them were like, 13? 14) and they're sporting furry/hentai avatars, posting in threads like no fap november, what turns you on. This ain't something I'm making up.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I do not understand the point of a porn thread, and I'd like to know why people want to keep it.

If you want to expand your fetishes, there are hundreds of forums and sites where you can discuss them with others. If you want to talk about veiny anthro horse dongs, there are THOUSANDS of places you can do it without people giving dirty looks and calling for you to be banned. If you want a sense of community with those who share your fetishes, there are forums for that too, you just need to look up X fetish forum, and if you just want porn, there are literally millions of websites catering to that. All of those options seem to work a bit better than a controversial FP thread. You won't be judged, ridiculed or otherwise made fun of in a website designed for what you're posting.

What I'm saying here is that even on 18+ sites, you still run the chance that you're sharing porn with minors only because minors can access that site just as easily as anyone else. It doesn't have to be allowed, and it typically isn't, but it still happens because there's no feasible way to find out for sure who's a minor and who isn't.

Is it creepy? Yes. But does it happen? Yeah.
