The thread has to go if these things are found to be true - on the basis that the moderation A) doesn't want to moderate the thread (not a single mod has voted to keep the threads, which should be telling) and B) when they've been moderated it's been extremely slack and has let multiple (we've found two examples, but trust me there are more in that quagmire) instances of outright rule-breaking through. Keep in mind that that thread had already been closed and re-opened TWICE, not including threads before that like the weirdest boner thread. They had two prior chances to not fuck up and they did. Since the moderation neither wants nor seemingly has the ability to keep that thread under control, if it's found to be more negative than positive there's really no recourse than to remove it.
