It's actually one lowpitched sinewave (-24) and one highpitched(+24) going through a lowpass filter with some distortion (Classic tube). I put a compressor and a saturator on it as well.

Also as a sidenote I always use a separate synth for the subbass.

Wow, i was off by quite a bit then.
fuck me. 7 hours went by doing a soundcheck today. we didn't have any in-ear phones so the drummer couldn't hear the click.
i'd say i'll be done with my track in about 3 weeks or so, because they both have work and i've got school = not much time that suits us all. might have to go there alone one day and record.
