I live in SF Bay. There is a severe rice tax here. Expect to pay a minimum of an extra $2k on any japanese sports car or even sporty car.
I have only ever seen TWO clean 240sx's. My friend drives a completely stock and clean 300ZX TT. The only mod he wants to do to it is put some dragon laminates on his fog lights and the only reason we haven't done that is because the clips that hold them in are fragile and are probably going to break if we try to get them out.
I have only ever seen one unfucked mk3 supra in my entire life, that's including real life and internet photos. There's a mk4 supra in my neighborhood which isn't exactly in shit condition but it's obviously a 20 year old car
We must be lucky here in Australia; you can come across plenty of 'clean' Japanese sports cars. Probably because the kind of person here who buys a car just to ruin it would usually buy a Ford Falcon, Holden Commodore or Mitsubishi Magna VR-X. That's not to say that you won't see molested imports, because most Silvias will be.
Clean R33 GTS Skylines in good condition will go for around about $8,000, R34 GT Skylines go for a bit more. Type-S Integras go for around $12,000. In general, some imports will be modified with new wheels or have their rear wings removed, but that's it.

There used to be a very clean MK4 Supra around here, owned by a middle aged woman. Seems like she took really great care of it, although I haven't seen it around in quite some time now. Hopefully it's still on the road at this point. I always like when people actually give their vehicles a nice home, especially when it's the sort of thing you don't see every day.
Although I have to drive it year around, I try to keep my Subaru washed on a regular basis (especially during the winter). Thankfully there's no rust on it yet, and it just hit 102k miles the other week.

I'm going to keep it for a while longer since it's all paid off, but I just hope the next owner gives it a good home.
Given the title of that video i was expecting that car be a response to some 12 year old calling someone "ricer".
i am still willing to believe that thing is the car equivalent to ironically shitposting.
[QUOTE=Ferosso;51645419]I love Japanese cars. I daily drive my Supra all year round and it has been the most reliable car I've ever owned, and it's almost 22 years old.
It has given me many great memories with friends and has always treated me well.

My mate had a JDM import Supra just like yours, unfortunately he sold it and got a Polo GTI, now he's thinking of selling it and getting another Toyota, he was even thinking about getting a Celica like mine, I have an ST184, it's not very fast in comparison to other cars but it's fun as fuck to whip it around corners really fast.

Picture is a bit old, I'm off of L plates and on my P plates now.

This is why I love it so much. Everyone's losing their tits over Tyler's car and it's so much fun to sit back and watch. People get really worked up over this stuff. And the dude genuinely does put a lot of work into the car - even though those fender flares are super simple, they're technically legal and it's cool he did the work himself. Would I ever go this hard? Fuck no. But it's fun to see someone go for it.
