What statistics are out there that have the average THC content of different cannabis strains?
see medical dispensary sites

Then go see medical dispensary sites.
why are you asking us? haha

Yeah, are you asking us to compile the list for you? lol
I don't think you're gonna get anyone to do your homework for you kid, especially when you've picked something that isn't going to work.
There's personal tolerance, the nutrition the weed was given, how it was grown, the light, how well it was cared for.. If you want a list of weed that is strong here you go...
List
___
Strong Weed
___
End List
Its not like there is this universal standard of weed, so asking for a list of strengths between strains is impossible unless you are looking at individual dispensaries. Strengths and names of strains can differ between dispensaries as some places experiment by mixing their own custom plants. Bubba kush or whatever the fuck, in one place can be called something completely different in another. If you are going to throw in individual differences then shit man theres no way for me to know your tolerance to certain strains so I see less of a possibility of compiling a decent list from that.
if you talkin about geneal nicknames, then
high - dank, loud, chonic, bomb, flame
medium - mids or regs
low - schwag, brick, poop

That's a bit helpful, thank you...
as for everyone else, I was just wondering if there were nicknames for them!

?
I feel the purpose of this thread is somewhat being missed...
The goal was to get a list of Marijuan Strains listed by either THC Content, or Strength.
Obviously strength varies from person to person, so...
[B]Marijuana Strains Listed by THC Level

Maybe he needs to make up his mind on what he wants?
I feel he just expressed what he was asking in a very confusing manner.

Well, I'm giving hints. Ordered by THC would be acceptable, yes... Strain nicknames, as well... well, basically, a way to categorize weed into and up to 50 to 54 different ways...
Yeah, it may be confusing the entire way I've done it... there is just a lot I don't know, and my research is turning me up empty!
[editline]19th October 2013[/editline]
Maybe it's not possible to order it by strength, due to how different people don't get the same feeling, but as for nick names, that should be a little easier to put in order, no?
I mean, yeah, nicknames would be easier to categorize but you'd have trouble with getting a large enough list imo.
It wouldn't exactly be correct to order it by THC because THC isn't the only thing in marijuana that gets you high, that isn't the only thing that dictates the potency of the bud because all of the cannabinoids present have different effects.
Strain nicknames though?
I couldn't classify Sour Diesel as more potent than Purple Trainwreck
in the same way I couldn't tell you if Lemon Haze is better than Orange Kush.
I've had varying degrees of quality in all strains that are supposed to be 'superb' because there's just far too many variables to be able to account for.

Technicals, technicals... yes, I know it's not easy to categorize, but at this point I would even accept a personal opinion list, or even an opinionated list based on what sounds better/best
[sp]Post #2 to the 7th... (128)... yeah, I'm a relatively nerdy pot smoker?[/sp]

thats as close as you're gonna get. I dont see the purpose of this though, if you are buying from a dispensary it should be pretty easy to pick and choose what strengths you want (which still varies from store to store). From the streets good luck finding a guy with variety/getting a guy that doesnt straight up lie and make up strain names/having a choice in what weed you even get. Don't be that guy that is obsessed with names cause it'll be very easy to just make up a name for their weed and milk extra cash off you. Haze, kush, diesel, etc are just names for the most part. Schwag, brick, regs, mids, dank are more of a descriptive term for their quality, their rankings were mentioned earlier.

Well, it's not about buying... I needed to know for a personal project of sorts, nothing involving the actual drug in real life, however... I may use it for reference later on

You mean the "po-po" right?
what is the point of all this? what project requires these names so much that you'd rather ask a bunch of people indiscernible questions rather than do the research yourself?
what is the point of all this? what project requires these names so much that you'd rather ask a bunch of people indiscernible questions rather than do the research yourself?
Because my research, which I did a lot of it, only returns me results that don't give me the information I was truly looking for... and pot smoking homies don't know much... so this is the last place I could think to ask
The only way to find that out would be through large-scale industrialized, standardized growth procedures with a wide variety of strains, followed by testing on every plant to find out the average THC content. Not to mention the public disclosure of these procedures and the results.
This simply doesn't exist today and therefore you can't get your answer.
