God damn, this really captures how fucking scary those things are.
This is the first video i've seen anyone saying "Allahu Akbar" in a fearful, worried tone, rather than most videos where it sounds like it praises shocking events.

This makes me feel terrible. This guy, an innocent civilian, is fighting for his fucking life as missiles rain down around him and I'm sitting here in comfortable fucking America among thousands of other people who don't even care and have ridiculously easy lives in comparison.

It's a quite complex situation. You might think this war is about freedom just like the other revolutions in north africa, but it really isint. This war is simply about pipelines, conflicting oil trade agreements and the strategic location of Syria. It is fought with religon, mercenaries and good old media bias. Countries like Russia and Iran lend political support and supply weapons to the assad regime. On the other side you have most of europe, saudi arabia, turkey and the US doing almost the same thing.
Europan nations and the US mainly give political support. Even though they have been really quite recently because the war have turned into a secterian war. Saudi arabia and turkey supply manpower and weapons to the free (sunni) syrian army. There is alot more stuff, but in simple terms it is proxy warfare and everyone is the bad guy in this conflict.

yeah, this really shows that most of the people in syria are like us, trying to go on with their life, but instead they get bombarded with fucking missiles and shit

I'm sorry, but that car alarm in the distance kind of made me chuckle. The loss is terrible, these are people dying, but the sound the car made after it was all over just seemed like something from a comedy movie.
