Their new song is like when august burns red previewed their next album, at first i'm not a huge fan but the more i listen the better it gets.

It seems that way, the release date of the album in Australia is the same date as my sister's birthday

I once got Carrion stuck in my head and kept singing "Carrion In a moment I'm lost Dying from the inside Her eyes take me away"... Started annoying everyone around me, and eventually myself.

it's the song that got me into them, I think I've ruined it by playing it too much though. I can play it too :)

Ever since I hear romance is dead, i've loved them.

I like romance is dead, but all my friends seem to love that one and smoke em if you got em. They're both okay songs, but they aren't my favourites

Romance is probably my favourite from the first album, and from Horizions, Horizons is my favourite.

I was listening to Horizons (song) last night and I was under the influence. I don't think I'll ever get tired of that song, I just love how it goes from a finger picking intro, to fairly brutal within 2 minutes. I love the break when Winston goes "To hope for something more, to dream of substance." Goes into an awesome breakdown and even in that there are awesome riffs going down, drums are tight, bass is fucking tight, guitars are tight, lyrics are awesome. I especially love the outro part, how Luke and Jeff's guitars have synchronised sweep picking going down, that's my fav riff of all time and that's a huge call. I honestly also think Ben Gordon is my favourite drummer, he's just so fluid and organic and yet so mechanical and precise with his drumming. Don't ask how that's possible it's just how I feel

Horizon's is a masterpiece.

I agree, 100% I don't think the new album is going to be anywhere near as good

Also they've announced tourdates for Australasia I'm going when they come to my town why didn't that add to my above post

It was 30 bucks last year, and August Burns Red and the architects played not to mentioned abandon all hope (top of the local scene) I doubt it, and there's only ever GA for them. I've heard sleepwalker, idk really. I mean I liked it, but I'm not sure I dig the new song, it's far less heavy. Cool solo, and I guess it's an okay song I just couldn't get into it

These guys are pretty good. They're coming here in November. Might go.

I'd recommend it, they put on a good show and connect with the crowd a lot. I went last year for my first concert, and it's the most fun I've ever had. [editline]10:13PM[/editline] Plus their tickets are fairly cheap too
