I like the content TB puts out because its very high quality, usually exclusive early content on PC games that actually matter to me. But every time he talks about anything it makes my brain hurt.

I agree with him on nearly everything. Also I've seen that conversation before and I side with TB. The guy sounded like he was taking credit for the success of the channel.

The point he's making is that if you disagree with how he's doing things, he's not going to fight you for it. Just stop watching his stuff. Because the thousands of subs he gains per day is what matters to his bottom line. He's so big that having those 74 people who upvoted his comment doesn't matter. I'd like to see him do Overgrowth and I wish he said "No" nicer, but those of his viewers on their own seem kind of pretentious, as if they are owed him to do what they want. If they leave his channel and never come back it means literally nothing to him, because it's such a small change, their disagreement or unsatisfaction of what he's producing pales in comparison to his huge audience that already enjoys the way he is running things.
I'm not in TB's position, but all of his responses make sense to me.

Not what i meant. People here are taking things like biscuit personally insulted them. The video he made is a pretty spot on impression/review of smnc but people can't get past the fact that it is TB so they are against it. I just want to see a game I really enjoy succeed.

The production value of his content is what takes time, and all the management of their hundreds of videos and keeping the channel up to date. He does research for all his videos, which is generally how he's referencing information while doing his recording. He doesn't simply buy a game and record the moment it's done downloading. He also does many videos per day, and not just on TotalHalibut, he has a website, forum, and his starcraft channel. I get that it seems like he's only doing WTF is, but he's covering a lot at once.
I run a tiny tiny channel in comparison but I still have loads of work simply maintaining most of the content on it. He has people helping him maintain it.
I'm not one to say, "Show what you have" But try doing what he does. Try doing your own style of WTF is- You might see how much work it is to be relatively ontop of the news about the game, while also showing most of what the game offers without doing a bunch of cuts or skipping around, and having them come out nearly every day.

I hate it to no end how in any game videos, the players always have massive ADD, and need to jump around during cutscenes, and ignore any characters talking.
MAX PAYNE DIDN'T NEED THAT.
It's possible to say he makes high quality content and at the time same acts like a dick to the people who are essentially buying his product. Hell I'm subscribed to the guy because he puts out good content. He just also has a history of saying incredibly stupid things and getting pissy over the smallest transgressions. I can excuse him a bit because of the workload but it would be better if he just didn't respond to request comments instead of go on a megamaniacal tantrum.

also Max Payne's cutscenes were perfectly fine, I had no problem with them
that being said, Metal Gear Solid is one of my favorite series' of all time, I can handle a little verbose cutscenes.
I think the point TB made in the MP3 video was that, you can tell a story without having the player wait like 8 minutes before being able to click on something.
