have fun being in debt for the rest of your life or a very long time
I'll have a well paying job right out of college, so it'll be fine.
My mother paid her entire way through college (no financial aid) and did just fine financially for the rest of her life. The amount of money taken out of every paycheck for those loans is so minimal, it won't make or break someone financially.
She fully paid off her loans when she was around 35 years old. If she paid them off just fine with a teachers salary and wasn't in any financial trouble, I can do the same. Teachers only got paid around 35,000 a year at that time, nowadays it's upwards of 50,000, and that's a starting salary. Add a coaching stipend on top of that and that debt won't be a problem.
I don't use credit cards or anything either. Really, loans aren't a problem as long as you make wise purchases. People take out huge loans to pay for law school and stuff, I think I can make due with taking these decent sized ones. Like I said, it's well worth it. The experiences I had during my first year of college alone are priceless.
I cannot stress this enough:
Don't go to college
Stockpile weapons
Live off the grid
I hear there isn't good food off the grid.

It varies from day to day
I'll be moving in for my first year at TTU (Tennessee Technological University) the 26th. I gotta say, I am a bit nervous about it.
Don't bother going to an university for the first few years. Community colleges are cheaper and basically amount to the same basic classes you need anyway. Transfer degrees are where it's at.
This is not always the case, depending on how your financial aid works out.
Anyone here heading up to Washington State?

I'm taking personal loans out the ass because my FASFA anally fisted me without any KY. Despite having to take out a 14k personal loan for this upcoming year, I can easily say that it is worth it. I'd shell out 50k if I had to.
Sounds like your parents filled out your "FASFA" for you.
Sounds like your parents filled out your "FASFA" for you.
What? The quotes are making me think you're trying to joke about something.
I filled it out myself. I got fucked by the FASFA because, while both of my parents are teachers, they make over 100k a year with their combined salaries. The government doesn't really give two shits about how many kids are being put through college or what your parent's jobs are, if they make over 100k with their combined salaries, they're going to fuck you in the ass with financial aid.
Seriously. I was offered 5,000 dollars in financial aid for this upcoming year in federal loans. 2500 a semester. That's fucking insulting.
my college (that im going to in like 14 days) is so notorious for their halloween riots that it was on tru tv's craziest riots.

I want to go there when they have their "halloween riot" and just wear a gas mask. What is that shit, CS Gas(Tear Gas)?
If so, would be so epic being in all that smoke like "yeah cops, didn't expect this, did you?"
I think that I am the perfect person to ask this. (Looks at name)
Anyway, go to college/university that is nearby and commute and you will make 1-4 friends in the the 4 years that you will be there. Go to a university that is far away where you will stay in dorms and party, and you'll have the time of your life.
Unfortunately/fortunately, I chose the ones I commute to, and I went and got a good education and didn't waste my time partying ( :smith: )
It all depends on what you're looking to do with your life.
I've got to finish applying for my college, but I'll be going to Chattahoochee Technical College close to where I live for film, and then I'll transfer to a bigger University after I get some of my general education classes finished. But this all depends on cost, and where I'll be in the next year or two.
