You'd think for a company like Bethesda, they'd just purchase some motion capture hardware that us indie developers would love to get our hands on. I guess they don't care to?
I don't understand your post at all, they're using infrared suits. pretty sure I'd love to get my hands on those (+the camera setup.)

They should hire some actual people who know how to use them properly though, as soon as people are in mo cap suits they tend to overact hugely.

he's referring to bethesda softworks, the publisher

I couldn't tell they were using motion capture at all, but I mean it's easy to tell in some games (e.g. GTA4 and LA Noire are great examples). It just looks stiff as usual.
I really don't care about how the graphics or animations as usual. I just want the incredibly immersive world and characters that Bethesda has delivered time and time again.

That's kind of silly to say tbh.
Good visuals (read: not necessarily super hi-res textures) and fluid animations help immerse you into the game.
If anyone, who hasn't seen it yet and really wants to. Here is a torrent for it:

That could be considered silly as well.

They can help but they're not necessary. I can still immerse myself in vanilla Morrowind so I doubt this will give me trouble.
Dunno what you guys are complaining about, it looks great. I thoroughly enjoyed the past games and the newer Fallouts, so I'm very much looking forward to this. Heck I'd probably still enjoy it even if there weren't any improvements.
