Even though I hate snow, not because of it being snow and shit but because salted roads and car winterstorage, something useful did come out of snow.

Left truck in dirt lot at work, that feel when you get off of a long ass day of work, warm your truck up, and do some hektik doriftu out of your spot/ out of the lot.
Hello Minnesota snow!

I cry ever tim
>8PM
>Hey son I'm going to the store
>Oh which store
>just gas station
>okay
So I went to my little trailer for the night
>dad comes back with gas
>take to put in his truck -- not the trucks he drives everyday
>put hot battery in
>clean up engine bay a bit
>turn key for a while
There is nothing
NOTHING
like the sound -- the FEEL -- of ~1000 horsepower of Big Block Mopar firing up late at night. Shaking the ground, pounding in your chest. It's a thing of beauty.

Speaking of big blocks, if I cant put a f22c in a Honda Beat, Do you think I could put a Ford 514 in a modern mustang, 572 in a camaro and a 440 in a challenger? Maybe even twin turbo too?
Because if I do end up opening my own car dealership that's another thing I'd like to do, have all 3 in the showroom at the same time.
I mean really, If you walked into a car dealership and saw the 3 major muscle cars with the biggest engine their respective company ever made, and twin turbo, you'd think that this place is pretty awesome
challenger engine bay is fucking huge i know that, You may need to modify it but the V8's look p small compared to all the room left over

All of those will fit. There just isn't room in the Beat because it's too damn short in the front and too damn skinny in the back.
Biggest engine their company ever made? The Ram V10 (And also Viper V10) are 488 cubes, bub.

Ok so I went to go take a look at it earlier today..
For one, the coolant was completely empty even though she apparently topped it up just recently.
Secondly, The rad cap gasket/seal was pretty fucked. The spring seemed alright though.
She also said one time the car was spewing out a bit of smoke that smelled like a fog machine/sweet, so I'm thinking she was burning whatever coolant was left in the car.
The car also squeals now, even though the belts don't seem worn at all. The back of the belt housing was a bit sweaty, so I'm thinking coolant could be leaking into the housing and causing the squealing. She mentioned it started just recently too.
We're going to try and bring into my high school shop on Monday to get it on a hoist and check the underside and see if it's leaking. Going to order a replacement rad cap tomorrow as well.
Should I replace the thermostat anyway though? I looked at the housing and it looks like the outlet hose can easily be removed without taking off the manifold, which was the only part I was really worried about.
so came to the conclusion i'm going to turbo the f23a1 and hopefully get it cam'd, run around 5-6psi so the engine doesnt blow but still get like 40-50hp out of it total and hopefully break 200hp on dyno
Welp me and a friend got back from town...
Me and a civic was at a stoplight taking a left, the light took FUCKIGN FOREVER.
When the light turned green I semi got into it and he was on my tail, he took the far right lane and I took the far left lane. (There was a SUV in the middle lane, and had to go ferly slow around the corner due to its really sharp and the curb stuck out pretty far.)
All of a sudden he herd my Audi googileness and he started his fartcan googileness.
He was ripp'en thoes gears like a mad man and I was just keeping up right behind him.
Race ended in his favor cause I tend to slow down when passing people that are not ballz crazy.
But if no traffic it would be a close call... Poor Audi got abused all night.

Camshaft won't help you unless you're dumping fuel in, 5-6PSI won't require that. 8PSI is totally safe on a bone stock F23 with a tune.
Tomorrow I may get the F22 mounted in the Civic c: We can be turbo F bros!

At first glance I thought your truck/van was the tender of a steam engine :v:
I know to go to Cosworth for top end WRX parts, but where would I go for Evo stuff?
(Cosworth has some Evo parts but not things like full engine blocks, ect.)
As far as what? Tons of 4G63T stuff out there.
Unless you mean the new Evo. To which I say ewwwwwwwwww.

Just Evos in general, but something to Cosworth caliber?
So in the past few weeks I decided I was going to look for cars with a 5-speed (as a first car) since it's looking like I'm going to be able to get used to it before actually buying a car with one.
I'm planning on saving around $5000 and I'm mostly looking at Hondas. Still can't decide on Civic or Accord, though I'm trying to stay at or past '99. I'm also thinking of cars that are RWD, though I'm not really sure what would be out there at that price range that would be reliable (or cheaply repairable/serviceable) and Japanese.
I also might be able to go to an auction with somebody that has a dealer license, so I might be able to find some newer cars in that price range, so if anyone has got any ideas on what I might run into at something like that, I'd appreciate it.
