Proper 10s-30s of glow before starting is good when it's really cold
My car has a bulb that indicated when the glowplugs have fully heated up the prechamber. Problem is, the bulb is blown, so I sit and listen for the relay controlling the glowplugs to make a satisfying "click", so i can finally crank it.

Just paid for my Optima Red Top Battery today Retail here is ~400$ I paid 161$ Sometimes i just love being a mechanic.
Great god. Just got the life scared out of me when my fire alarm went off. Some one was making toast in the kitchen, and the toast did not even have the chance to get brown. Too keep this AA related, Who else loves detailing their car? I'm about to bust out the pressure washer and the 6 inch orbital buffer and get to work...

The first thing I want done is adding the chromed wheel arches when it comes back from winter storage, then get money and buy some new chrome trim for it all around the car. Everything but the bumpers and the grill shines but scratched. [t]http://i.imgur.com/UQ19P.jpg[/t] You only really see it when the sun shines directly onto it or when I use the flash on my camera. Still annoying though.

Or when a idiot leaves soap or degreeser on chrome/polished aluminum and it leaves a hazzy cloud that you cant get off. ;_;

Recent influx of stolen S-chassis here in southern California It seems Honda Civics/Teggies/Accords are no longer hip

Went to town today to get some vinyl done, in the middle of a snowstorm. Goddamn asphalt drivers are annoying, going 50 in a 80 when it's not even slippery.
For the last two weeks I've been stuck behind a driver, daily going to school, who refuses to go the speed-limit. The signs say 55. GO 55. This whole 45 in a 55 is irritating me
Follow him and tell him what's up. Make sure your face is as red as possible first.
Welp. Once I get my flywheel in, I have decided to go F2B and I now have front converted to '96 ITR spec. It's been a ton of work but I'm making a little progress every day. It's time for a nap now though. I am drained.

On the topic of detailing, I have to detail all the work trucks once every other month. We have a fleet of 11 sprinters, 1 town and country, and one F150. It takes me a solid week to go through all of them working 9 hours a day. Atleast I get to sit in a warm warehouse and do it though.

If you have plenty of time i'm sure it can be a little relaxing actually.
In a way, my boss is pretty chill when it comes to how long I take, but because I use a DA on them, it really doesn't take me all that long. Its a really relaxing job, if im not doing that, Im repairing hospital beds or other misc. hospice equipment.

Now I have a good recommendation for a company that specializes in electric motors. I would be the the dude to go get the motor and bring it back to the shop in a 3ton truck. ~Post the job that lets you waste money on head gaskets~
it's getting a bit chilly (-10F) so i dug up my block heater cord
