It's a Ford. I have a buddy who ran more than half a tank of diesel though his Bronco(he didn't put it in), overheated it til the point it wanted to stall out and changed the oil a couple times. It must of had two blown headgaskets based on the nasty ass plugs that came out of it before he traded it. However, it ran as strong as any day it was driven.
I wouldn't worry about anything which comes out the exhaust, it's just exhaust lol.

So, I've got a 5MGE short block, with I believe, 0 miles. It's all wrapped up in plastic wrap and oiled paper. I've got a set of heads, and a cast iron exhaust manifold to go with it. Can't figure out how much it's worth though.
Guiz. My 4.6 is done, off to pick it up this weekend.

Ah so that's what that melted plastic smell was....
Looks like i forgot to clip down the plastic bezel on my valve cover the other day, and nearly burnt my car down. It was sitting against the exhaust manifold heat shield.
So I drove in the rain, now I know where all my water leaks are (no interior)
Rear window corners are leaky as fuck, steady stream of water is what ruined my Drivers side floor, and what started to kill my passenger side floor.
I done went and gone to the dark side :'(

B18A1 with a later B18B1 valve cover. Nothing spectacular/strange about it, just how it is.
EDIT: It's an "OBD0 engine", but regardless, the catch can and valve cover have nothing to do with what OBD it runs. Sorry, it's one of my pet peeves when people say something completely unrelated to on-board diagnostics is "OBDx". What you actually meant is that it's a 1996-2001 valve cover and a 1990-1993 catch can. But, anyways...

I seem to have a shorter fuse after a week of work. Slammed on my brakes and started yelling 'go the fuck around me you stupid fuck' at some handicapped shit that was tailgating me..
Normally I would of just slammed the brakes/blinkered for my turn and turned w/o saying anything but shit, that fucker pissed me the hell off.

Oh, makes sense. The catch can came on all the obd0 and obd1 b18's though, it was done away with when they moved to obd2 and used a different valve cover at the same time.
I've always considered it easier to use what obd a motor is since the most noticeable revisions and differences are between when they changed the version of obd the car ran. The more minor specifics can always be specified, that's like complaining that I said it's a motor out of a DA instead of a DC and not a B18A1 lol. Although I'm not aware of any major differences between a obd0 and obd1 B18A1 other than the manifold/dizzy.
I was just mentioning it because I figured that you would have to address having two different pcvs on your motor.

Alright, that's pretty boss.
So i ordered some new front discs and brake pads from tire rack. When they arrived, it looked like all of the boxes had been opened before, and the brake pads had stickers peeled off the box, and wasn't taped shut anymore. That was irritating, but whatever. It's not the first time i got something i suspected of being opened before i got it. What DID piss me off, is that two of the brake pads have large nicks in the surface. So i call their support number and they aren't open until Monday. Fuck you Tire Rack for sending me opened, damaged items.
