It's a 1JZ in a Supra. Regardless of if it's half assed it's worth at least twice what my car is.
Found this gem, on 'Car Domain' seems more like Rice Domain, the way he describes his car is unbelievable. You really must see for yourself.
Finally going to pick up my motorcycle tomorrow! It's been sitting for about a year and needs a new battery and the carbs cleaned... but for $1100 I'm not really complaining. '07 Ninja 250R with 7k on the clock, also came with a helmet and gloves. I'll post pics tomorrow after I get her cleaned up.

Felt so good to rev it that first time, hahaha.
The first time I actually tore off an on ramp I was so happy at my 800 dollar purchase. Everytime I let that throttle go it feels amazing, every damn time. I cant see how anybody wants anything (on a sport bike) bigger than 600cc. I can see how on a chopper because they are heavier.
>guy moves in across the street
>buys a motorhome a few days later
>puts in back yard
>buys a smaller motor home today

>huh theres a cop out ther-
>shit that niggas winnabegos on fire!
I have no idea what the fuck even happened, looks like the fire started in the engine bay area (of the stuck motorhome)

Hey man, It's a good lookin car and I <3 dale earnhardt. Going to pick it up and add it to our collection of over decade old cars with under 60k miles
So yeah, you remember the Golf 3 that my neighbor is selling that I told about a few pages ago?
I bought it. Pics coming maybe later today.
Just gotta get it started because it's been sitting for quite a long time so it's probably just some water in the distributer or a faulty coil. I've read that faulty coils are common on them but there's a scrapyard just across the road anyway. It's also got a problem with its clutch. The arm that the wire operates isn't moving as easily as it should be. When I've got those two problems fixed I can send it to get inspected and then I have another winter car :v:
So, an update:
I invited my dad over to help me with the golf to figure out what needs to be done to it and so far we have managed to get it started by switching out a plastic tube from the air filter to the manifold and a new cable from the coil to the distributer. The plastic... thing from the air filter to the manifold was broken clean off by a vacuum hose so we switched it with one found on the junkyard just across the road.
It started easily with those two new things and ran fine. I then tried to put it in gear to see if it'd move but we found out that it's probably the arm that the clutch pedal operates with a wire that can't seem to move away the pressure plate so we'll see more into that later. My parent's neighbor has been working on a Volkswagen shop for many years and knows everything about this so we'll contact him.
I stopped it and now it won't start again. When the ignition is on you can hear the fuel pump working and it smells gasoline so I know it's getting gas, and the engine turns over just fine but it just won't start anymore for some reason.

I've only got my phone to take pics with now...
Managed to boil the coolant in the snowmobile. It's about +5c outside for a few days, and that made the snow really hard-packed. My radiator is above the track, and relies on snow being shot at it from the track.
That sounds kinda neat. Jdm snowcooled yo
I'd rather have an air-cooled motor honestly.

My dad, for whatever reason, will only allow me to get a domestic-branded car, so to get around that, I started looking at captive imports. I don't know much about these, so I'd appreciate it if I could get some information on these cars.

I've heard some pretty terrible things about the Dodge Stealth/Mitsubishi 3000GT. Nearly constant and expensive repairs, etc.
You could also check out cars like the Geo Prizm, which is a rebranded Toyota. Infact, all Geos are rebranded Japanese cars.
Geo Prizm? Thought that was a rebranded chevy?
Well, shit.
VLN, what did you mean by holy shit in the POY-thread?
One of the first gen Prizms had a 4AGE engine as well.
God damn that Laser is nice, but it's not a captive import. It was built in the US for export by Chrysler and Mitsubishi as DSM, Diamond-Star Motors, the diamond from Mitsubishi's logo and the pinstar from Chrysler's logo.
I'm a DSM guy so I'm biased, but that is a crazy price on a 4G63-powered DSM. You can tell it's the higher-end 4G63 model and not the base 4G93 by the door handles -- They were black on DSMs equipped with a 4G93.
If I was needing a car, had that kind of money, and wanted something fairly cool for the price, I'd buy it. I'd be on my way to buy it. I'd be handing the guy money.

you should smack your dad.
(most) American cars are shit, you should make your dad pay for any repairs that will inevitably be needed
