Are forward wheel cars any fun in any terrain? From what I can find my Jetta is forward drive. I get to go to school and hear about how my friend's stick 2002 BMW 325ci just goes fucking crazy in the snow without traction control and how he can melt the tires at a stop sign by accident
Do you know anything about cars? How do you not know it's fwd? Did you not look under the hood for one second to see a sideways-mounted motor?
And no, most fwd cars are no fun to drive. Ever wonder why sports cars are always RWD?

All Jetta's that are not defined as "4Motion" is FWD :P
Found a Nissan 200 SX whilst rummaging around blocket.se
A tad bit suspicious there being no pics and it being quite cheap.
But it's not far so I might go check it out.
Any tips on usual issues with this car? What might one expect?
Still having trouble deciding between getting a good ol' american or something like this.
This is likely safer and probably a tad bit cheaper in the long run. I can always spend piles of cash restoring an American car in the future.

No dude, huge rims and huge spoiler. Ricearoni.
If you have been following my pointless posts you'd know it's an old car like Al_Borland said. Prepare to lay down cash, (but its the same for every other car). Just maintenance and tune up, depending on the quality of the car also repairs. Shouldn't be too difficult finding parts because of the availability of the car. Just be prepared to pay for shipping if you have to. Get this one instead:

At least it is close to stock and they care enough to put it on a trailer. Some fixing it should be ok as long as the engine still turns

That thing is so beautiful, everytime I see it I want one, but there's none in Norway (at least not for sale) The latest impala for sale is '70
I don't like it either, but the engine makes up for it.

Black 850 swagon AWD with a 2,3 T5 for sale right now. I wish I was 17/18 so bad right now :'(

(Helpful advice)
Looked up the pic earlier, and it seems to be of a car currently owned by someone in the USA. So there's a chance it isn't as much of a ricer, but we'll see once I take a look at it.
The issue with the one you posted is that I can't really do a lot of work easily, like installing the engine. I'd have to borrow a workshop from a friend. But it's a definite possibility.
I am also looking at another one, which is a bit more expensive but seems to be in pretty good condition.
Thanks for the advice.

I was coming off I-94 doing 80 and there was a state cop up on a hill facing me. Speedlight on the exit was 60 but there was no traffic and that off ramp is fun. He saw me, and started coming off the hill, By the time he got to M-39 to find me, I was already off the freeway. I saw him come off the ramp and go pretty much right past me. Not sure if he was looking for me, or if I just so happened to go by him.

I wish the cops back home worked like the ones here in Germany. You don't really see them doing speed traps in person, they just rather use camera's which my GPS has an adapter which can detect
them.

None of my car enthusiast friends ever curbed a wheel. we all keep a safety distance from any curbs. It's not hard not to curb a wheel.

My friend's car died. Timing belt snapped. It's very dead
A photo just surfaced of a call from this last summer... just to put this into perspective how weird it is, there isnt a road behind that wall. Its nothing but woods/field

Sorry my browser displays a garbled website and I thought that shell looked good.
Do you guys ever regret buying a certain car/ wonder where you'd be right now as far as vehicular tastes and such if you had bought or kept a certain car?
Scary shit.. or something, I dunno.
i feel like a shithead but i hate my dad for not just helping me out when all those $800 80's/90's 4x4's popped up on CL, christ I coulda had a 80's military blazer, HD axles and lockers all around, but he convinced me that detroit diesels were the converted gas engines and that they were shit.
Now 2 years later I still have a rusty old ford that I cant find parts for and dont want to risk taking a fall on a parts truck, and now my jeep needs a trans, and a floor.

Agreed for the 300ZX, but I disagree on the 280ZX. I had a '79 and did drive it around a couple times, it felt really tight and small. They don't feel as big as the 300ZX or the S30 chassis, they feel like a compact. I'd definitely buy one again given the chance.

Shiban - your 240sx is no comparison to these cars. The 240 handles worlds better (and is almost quicker) than any 80's generation Z.

Dude, that clip with the red stang @ 9:10 - that kid was handed a second chance at life and he completely fucked it up merely blocks down the road. After a save like that I think I'd have to pull over and breathe heavy for a few minutes before I'd even think about hopping back in the car.
