DUDE BANANA, U KNEW IT WAS COMING. IT WAS LIKE A REDLIGHTRACE. WE COULDNT DO ANYTHING BUT SMOKE YO 13yo ASS.
So guys, if anyone ever sees Banana at a red light(If he's on a crosswalk or something), race him, you're sure to win. Get it... he still can't drive :v:
Greentexting a bit here but it does a good job to TL;DR this. So I'm town and I'm trying to finish up before the weather goes to shit. I have old all-seasons. Halfway done and it starts snowing. Fuck. Go into the wal-Mart, come out half an hour later to an inch of snow and it's still coming down. FUCK FUCK! I run three more errands and by now it's compact snow everywhere and I can't make corners fast or I spin out. Say fuck it and head for the highway and home. It's uphill. I'm partway up the hill when I start feeling my rear wheels slip. Oh, you bitch. Wheels keep slipping. Keep downshifting until I'm sliding, feathering back and fourth and crawling up at 10km/h. Mother fucker. There's now a line of cars behind me waiting to get up the hill behind me too. Jesus this is humiliating. Make it to the top of the hill and take the ramp onto the highway. I AM INVINCIBLE! 20 minutes later I pull off highway to get home. Two ways up the hill. One steep. One not so steep. Still snowing like fuck and I decide to take the not so steep hill. Make it halfway and stupidly downshift and lose momentum; start spinning wheels. FFFFFFF- Try and turn around and sidewind back and fourth on the road. Turn around you piece of GM shit! Finally get turned around and honked at traffic going both directions and wait at bottom of hill for snow plough to clear road. Plough comes past half an hour later. Try again. TOTAL FAILURE. Take car down to gas station, park it and walk 5km home in bullshit wind and snow. Moral of story: Whoever the child molesting sack of shit was who purchased the OPTIONAL 2WD package for a Geo Tracker, a vehicle designed to be 4WD, you have a nook carved out for you in the depths of hell.
Too my dart out for the first time in a month. My Dad managed to nab some inspection stickers from work to slap on it, since it still needs some work before it'll pass inspection. Felt so damn good, haha.
I demand pics and specs of the dart.
I've been told that TT nissan 300zx's are super rare, and thats pretty much why a lot of them are overpriced. The prices you have to pay for having an awesome car in pristine condition...
Nah actually they're not rare. Quite a lot of people have them. If you are in the Nissan scene you would understand their hype: you buy a somewhat ok shell, fix it up, swap an engine if you must and make it nice. At this point and time those 80-90's Nissans are already beat to crap. If anything a pristine 50K 240SX is at most $5000. Let alone a 300ZX. I see them all the time in the junkyard so its easy to fix them. It's not like these are Porsche's or old muscle cars. They're just Japanese tuners that you modify for your usage. People tend to overpriced them because of rice tax.
Why does this have to show up and I don't have money? I would jizz every time I start it. If only it was a manual http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1984-Nissan-300ZX-Turbo-/290834759175?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item43b71a3e07
WHATS YOUR LICENSE STATUS, BANANA
37 DAYS FROM TEST, SIR [editline]10th January 2013[/editline]
So guys, if anyone ever sees Banana at a red light(If he's on a crosswalk or something), race him, you're sure to win.
37 DAYS FROM TEST, SIR
76 days for me D: Luckily enough I don't have a test, I just get my license. I like my school, giving me a free license and all.
76 days for me D: Luckily enough I don't have a test, I just get my license. I like my school, giving me a free license and all.
Stay the fuck out of Minnesota.
Stay the fuck out of Minnesota.
Oh I haven't planned on going to America for a long time. Anyhow, by not having a test I mean I've already done it. Same with all the driving. Done with everything.
Still a while until I can get my license. :v: Hopefully I can make old Merc fully road-worthy before I get my license though, lots of stuff needs to be done anyways and lots of stuff I'd want to do. I don't think it's going to pass an inspection atm though, considering the CSV and some emissions stuff that they had to fit is not really working. [editline]edit[/editline] and fyi still trying to find a 600 horn. I honestly don't want to ask Mercedes if they have any on storage because it will bust my budget in all ways possible. If anyone stumbles upon one, give me a hint. Checked Ebay and such already, nothing there.
Anyone know what sort of business can make plastic body panels for my bike? -edit- also what kind of plastic should I use : Doesn't need to be super strong, but hold up to winds while going at less than 35 mph Cheap Lightweight
Will the MVA let me take the test in the Jetta? It wouldn't pass inspection but since it's still in my grandmother's name she's exempt from inspection and emissions testing. I don't want to practice parallel parking in it only to find out they won't let me test in it.

Also learn to fucking parallel park anything. FFS I parallel parked a extended bed F150.
The vehicle has insurance it just doesn't have an inspection/emissions test since my grandmother is over 70..but my point is that it wouldn't pass an inspection, so I don't know if they would let me test in it and I'd rather learn to parallel park in the tiny beat up car before I attempt it in a huge Lexus

Just bought lowering springs for my Sentra. I'm not slamming it but I think it's pretty silly that I can fit my fist in the wheel well with 16's.
The D16Z6 is one pig of a D series, I got about the same power out of a D15B + D16Y7 head and still managed 38 on average. No idea what my LS swap + B16A trans will bring yet...
Shit, I made like 28 going over the pass into Cali with 4 people driving literally as conservative as I could. I get like 22-24 city which is short distance with the local highway mainly. Shorter gearing on the LS is so much fun to drive but it bends the millage over and fucks it in the ass and tears a good 20% off it compared to the proper tranny. I'd suggest to put a LS 5th in that thing ASAP if you can. 4000rpms doing 80 is painful to travel at, IMO. You'd even be much further out.. [editline]10th January 2013[/editline]
do you have coils on your civic? I have a small budget and was looking at progress cs2's or function and form. I was wondering if you had any input? being the resident honda guru :c
H&R OE Sports have a drop similar to the ITR, it won't sacrifice ground clearance or ride quality but still stiffen you up slightly and lower you to even out the wheel gap. I'll just quote a post from Team-Integra which compares the heights.
Itr springs Stock
I have H&R Sports(not the OE ones) and although my car looks really good my tires tear up my fender liners and used to carve themselves into the fender seam. I'm buying a set of ITR suspension here soon and ditching this junk for something OEM. Only a few people end up with the same issues as myself though, I'm unsure what causes it but I wouldn't have chanced it if I knew. [editline]10th January 2013[/editline] Oh, you also definitely wouldn't need any camber kits if you went with a mild spring like the OE Sport. If you're looking for a good stiffer quality setup which has been well proven, pretty much everyone on T-I swears by Koni Yellow's and Ground Control coilovers.
Speaking of when some of us get our licenses, I can go get mine February 1st. Excite levels = critical.

Had my sister not been a bitch and gone to a school that we can't afford 600 miles away (to be on the beach) then I could've gotten it in December..

I had to buy a car to get my license, because every car owned by MY ENTIRE FAMILY was considered not legal to take the test in. Mostly for stupid reasons like a window not working, or the passenger door handle on the inside of my dads truck not working. Then I had to replace all the tail lights on my car when I bought it too. :v:
It has tags and a valid registration, everything works, there's just some minor things that would keep it from passing inspection (ie. headlight fog). That and I don't know how they feel about cars that are not inspected/tested for emissions because the owner is > 70 (since I would be driving it, not the owner).
Really? Fogged headlights can make it fail inspection? Says who? What year is the Jetta?

According to this it only has to be inspected if it is sold or the title is transferred. Where are you reading that you need it inspected before taking a drivers test? Hell, even in California, they only checked to make sure the lights worked, turn signals, horn, seat belts, and defroster. [editline]10th January 2013[/editline] Don't worry, be happy. [editline]10th January 2013[/editline] Also, your mom's boyfriend knows nothing about laws/cars. Stop listening to him.

Not a fan of the B16 gearing at all -- I'm used to having a torqueless turbo D with an HF tranny. :)

The lady said which car is yours, I said the black one in the front and she said lets go.
