They both sound pretty good to me. A V8 would be neat, but i'm more than aware of the power of the straight six [sp]My favorite car is a Z-tune R34 Skyline after all...[/sp] But how much of VIP stuff is custom? Is there a place for buying this stuff?
It's happened to my car before. It just stalls out. Throw it in park, turn to off, remove the key, re-insert the key (I have no idea why mine needs this to work again), start the car up and drive off again.
Thanks that helped me start up, but this keeps happening now :( It just happened 20 minutes ago while I was driving to walmart. What the fuck is making this happen

I REALLY like the W210 (Its what I think of when I imagine a MB Sedan) I also like the W126 but I'm trying to stay away from older cars (Else, I would've just got my 86 and been done with it) [editline]22nd January 2013[/editline] And maybe Luxury Sports is a better word than VIP to describe what i'm after? It would be like a Maybach almost.
e38 swag [t]https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-vXBP481zhe4/UNJXsiVr16I/AAAAAAAAB7c/zumPo2eE7vg/s800/IMG950338.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/1RgQQ[/t] As a Merc owner, I'd say that having an old one is a lot of fun. For about a year. Then you get really tired of the constant repairs. Like fucking constant. All of the vacuum lines running to the vents in my w124 have to be replaced which is a 7+ hour job. They're very nice cars, if you don't mind an insane amount of mundane maintenance. [editline]22nd January 2013[/editline] If you're looking for lux sports, than a 2001 740i with M Sport. It has a lower ratio rear diff, tighter steering, steptronic transmission, and a higher stall speed torque converter. That's what I got - and I fucking love it. [editline]22nd January 2013[/editline] It will do 0-60 in less than 6 seconds.
I did end up going with the Mini after all. I, personally, like it, even though it may not be the most popular of cars around here. http://imgur.com/a/UHE6i (To be fair, it beats the Mazda 5 I was driving by a landslide.)

Says the man with flapping junk in his avatar?
Anyway, Its sort of difficult to explain what effect i'd be after : On the inside it would be a full super luxury interior : Wine cooler, curtains, tv, seats that make you breakfast, ect... But on the outside it would be a super sports sedan : put the car on a diet, suspension, engine, ect, but still with a good paint-job. Sort of like that I guess?
... Increasing weight with features but then doing weight reduction?
... Increasing weight with features but then doing weight reduction?
It'll be interesting to try and fill the criteria of a luxury car while still trying to meet the standards of a sports car.
Y'all are missing a good bus debate in TS3

Could somebody give me a summary of the '68 chevy nova v8. Tried looking it up on Wikipedia but it doesn't even say what v8 is in it, or how powerful that engine is. Link to advert
Hello! Now selling my nova, which is a runnable renovation. V8 + PG, Wolf Race rims with decent tires, rust there. Make ready for inspection and run as is, or go through it and get a nice rare car. Mail contact will not be answered! only phone. The price is set at 22,000, could be a little cheaper at quick business, including replacement with something fun + money. MVH
shit, 24 days until license test, I really need to do those 3x 2 hour driving sessions with the instructor

Could anyone perhaps tell me what exactly is the difference between a normal Audi A4 B6 and a S-Line edition? Some dude is advertising his B6 and told me it was a S-Line version, But I can't really see what's so special about it.

Its awesome having a nice looking car that looks classy and when you turn it on it purrs and then you step on the gas and it just roars in a manner that would suggest Marvin Gaye was reincarnated as a lion.

I just got my license this morning. I'm going to be getting my own car soon! ;_;

It would be like a Maybach almost.
If you want luxury sports, then honestly, the W210 is not the way to go. It's an E-Class made from 1995 and to 2003, afaik (the non-facelifted version). Mercedes reliability wasn't really that good in those years, most people who bought their W210's and other mercs back then are having trouble with them now. Even my Uncle has a 2003 C-Class which has had quite some issues over the past 2 years or so. And tbh, there's not too much vip over it and it's very, very far from being sporty. If you want sport and vip, the S-Class is the one to go for (if we're talking Mercedes, that is. BMW makes the 7 series and Audi makes the A8, both competitors for the S-Class and vice-versa). Merc has been making them since 1955, so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to find yourself a good one. There's a guy on FP who owns the 1997-2005 S-Class, which was pretty much the only class Mercedes made in the years of 1997-2003 that wasn't unreliable. They also come with big engines, if you want some sport in the package. Never seen AMG versions of them, though.
What i'm looking for is a good source of aftermarket stuff for Mercedes or just Euro cars.
Just buy a car already and stick to it like a man! You went from AE86 to Euros in a heartbeat
Going down sprain at 80mph in left lane, I see what looked like an audi a quarter a half mile back or really in the distance (looked like LED lights for some reason). As it gets closer, I notice it's a fuckin black 98 accord closing in on me. All of a sudden he gets right up my ass and gets in the middle lane lines up with me and speeds off with the deepest growl ever, Deeper then mine even. Only exterior mods was black rims and black discs/calipers (Technically preformence as well). Last exterior was he put in those dumb yellow fog lights at the bottom. I hate them so much. Anyway I get upto him and we both cruise down the highway together and both get off at the same exit and he turned off onto another street.
