I apparently get 20mpg
.. premium gas only :c
I run premium as well. I get about 22 mpg... I could get more, but its hard to drive conservatively all the time.
I <3 my truck, but it's killing me. As useful as it is to have a bed. I'm gonna be moving in a month...I think, after that I'll probably just get it painted and sell it. :(
[editline]29th January 2013[/editline]
But first I'll take it up into the mountains.
What should I save for then or how much should I save?
I loved my Nissan Altima. However, finding one that isn't a piece of shit is near impossible. At least where I live all Altimas are owned by people who run them super hard and don't take care of them.
If you can find a Nissan that is in good shape and has been taken care of... you will love it. I got my Altima up to 30mpg at one point.
30mpg? Altima?!?!
I'm lucky if I get 25-26 mpg in mine :v:
What year was your altima?
man if i drove an altima
i wouldn't be putting premium in it lol

It was a 2001 GXE
What planet do you live on where gas is almost free?
America I presume :v:
Datsun 1200 ute with dual Webbers/deltoros. should get decent milage more due to size with decent power to weight ratio.
Nearly identical as well. The American Si models of the Civic and Del Sol both rated for exact same mileage due to the fact that they weigh the same and have identical gearboxes and engines (and ECU, containing the same fuel maps and the like).
Mmmm song to my ears... Already got some cash stored, a few months more unless someone comes up with anither savings account that was designed for when I'd start working and I can have a sweet ass ride.
I seriously hope that blue one I saw is still there and available for less than 4000 and in good shape.
What would be a good price range by the way?
17 isn't bad? What planet do you live on where gas is almost free?

Some TRUCKS do better than that
for a v8 its not bad, Hell, my 4 banger tacoma gets 23 on a good tank.
[editline]30th January 2013[/editline]
but I actually use my truck bed too much to not have it.

Honestly it all depends, expect anywhere between $2000-$5000 for a sol in "good" shape. You just have to know what to look for. Also it depends on what trim you get as that can get pricier.

Poor Marty, his Subarus were nice. I actually kinda wanted one because of him.

I've grown up with trucks so anything 15 or above is good by me

It really isn't. He's just used to his 4 banger...stuff (ok probably 6 banger but still)
My car gets ~33mpg normal driving and ~47mpg on long drives :D
13mpg due to exhaust leak +driving style.
Probably could get ~17 if I tried once I get the exhaust fixed

I totally would if I could afford it (and it could reach 60 mph in less than half a minute).
Motorheads of Facepunch, opinion on this as possible first vehicle for myself? (details are sparse, I contacted the seller and will give more as they come.)

That is in good condition and looks cool
But my 3 already gets 40mpg. And gets to 60 in about 8 seconds.
I have a new found love for gravel roads, and a deep-seated hatred for my open diff. It's pretty silly how one side of my car is covered in dust/dirt, and the other side didn't throw up any dirt at all.
Urgh it sucks if you have no money for gas; and your town is full of winding, twisting roads without stop lights
and its an infinitely sunny day
and my phone is full of new songs
but my wallet is empty
my car is a "race car" now :v:
11 mpg city, about 16 mpg highway, i'm not proud with those numbers.
not proud at all :c
i wish i had a car

Yeah, it's not terrible for a V8 car. But it's still terrible. And you won't find a 30-year-old Mustang with a V8 that gets the mileage it was rated for either. Best to expect the 12-15 range.

I've had more V8 cars than I can count on one hand, bub. >_>
