I hate dealerships. seriously wtf. Went in to get my new 2-way remote start Module programmed today. Was told they only have one guy certified to use the GM Tech 2 and hes on holidays for 2 weeks. How is it even possible to only have one certified tech to use THE GM programmer that is required to do everything from adding new keys to the car to replacing computer modules and programming Tire pressure shit?? Besides the fact that sounds like horse crap, they even asked what I needed done when i made the appointment yesterday and said no problem come on down at 8am.

Thats what pisses me off the most. I know its easy as hell to use. Programming the RCDLR should take like 20 minutes. I just don't have 4 Grand to buy my own, or the 3100$ for Tis2web and GM SI subscription.
Get her a 74' Dodge Monaco Then you can look like this and borrow it sometimes: [sp]Its the Blues Brothers[/sp]
Looks like I'll be getting this: http://www.1stautosdirect.com/vehicle_pages/JT2AW16JXK0152145-1989-Toyota-MR2-Supercharged-.shtml I'm gonna set up an appointment for a test drive later this month, and then figure out If I can get financing, what the interest rate and down payment is gonna be, get an insurance quotes, etc. So much that can go wrong but if I manage to get it I will be a very happy man
Found the new hoon-zone, a deserted at night industrial park about 10 mins from me. and you can keep it 'legal' because of the way the stop signs are laid out, had some fun there for a few minutes.
ended up getting an 89 Lincoln for 1700. no rust, 80,000 all original, plus aftermarket shit radio. the crown Vic had cable issues [editline]1st February 2013[/editline] In other news, I also got rear-ended. I went fucking police on the guy too. Photos photos photos. When they upload to my DB, i'll post them. My vehicle has little to no damage, but the other guy's vehicle is going to need an entire new frontend.
Anyone know places that rent out garages for vehicle storage? I live in a townhouse and parking is in the form of a parking lot with small spaces, no way in hell am I putting my mr2 anywhere near a large amount of cars in a small area
My damage: [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/11823009/other/2013-02-01%2019.27.57.jpg[/t] His damage: [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/11823009/other/2013-02-01%2019.32.07.jpg[/t] Damage is mirrored on the other side too.. and his hood doesnt align anymore.
we tried to find some exhaust valves for my friends 740 today, went to 3 places only getting "yeah we don't have those" then went to volvo dealership and they said they'd order them price jumping from ~13€ to 60€
The problem is that you're trying to find small parts local, wait a bit pay cheaper online :v:
He needs it fixed as soon as possible
Well that's his wallet.

Also when we went to the volvo dealership full of -10+ cars, he went to the spareparts desk saying he needs some parts for a older volvo and when he said it's a -89 they just said "oh that's not even old"
Which model is your 3 Squad? an LTZ vs a 325i would be driver vs driver. Maybe even a 328 with a bad driver.
It's actually a 330xi. So it has a bit better performance and power than the 328. That and the all wheel drive makes it fly off the line.

Set up a test drive for the mr2, everything has been set in motion. Now I just gotta see if I can finance it and the insurance quote, and it'll be smooth sailing from there

Got my driver's license yesterday.
Did drive time 2/3, parallel parking is actually pretty easy the way he taught me. I am a little foggy on backing into a parking space though.
Went and looked at a friend's (or my guitar teacher) "new" car. A T5 transporter that was rammed from behind, which he's fixing. He showed off his stereo and noticed that the ESP and ABS lights were on in the dash. Found his laptop and checked if there was actually something wrong (it'd been disconnected from the battery for a while, so he thought there could've been something with that), then he remembered that he'd disconnected the cables. Today, my mom said she was thinking about selling the caravelle and buying back this Golf that we owned like 10 years back. But it seems that it's more likely that I'll be the next owner, if we get a good enough price on it. Pretty sure it's a diesel turbo (it's got a turbo at least, my mom told me about them having some problem fixing it), 4/5 door, black. That's pretty much everything I know about it.
Got my driver's license yesterday.
Wait, are alot of you guys waiting till you are 18 to get your licenses or is everybody here young?
I think you have to remember that there are different age limits to getting your licence. I have to wait until I'm 18 to get my licence, wether I like it or not.
afaik, in the US, the age is 16 for urban, 14 for rural.
Got my driver's license yesterday.
Congratz man, I've got mine on monday. Really fucking nervous. [editline]2nd February 2013[/editline] Got my exam next monday I mean*
Wait, are alot of you guys waiting till you are 18 to get your licenses or is everybody here young?
I turned 16 in November, but at least in Illinois you have to have a driver's permit (must drive with a person over 21 with a valid license) for 9 months, so yesterday was the very earliest I could get my license.
