yeah if I hadn't been forced to wait 2 months to get my permit I could've had my license in December :(
Was gonna go out and wash my car today, vacuum it, do some detailing, and replace the cabin air filter. Have been puking all day so there goes that :\
Got some new tires for the Jetta today! [editline]2nd February 2013[/editline] thanks for breaking the automerge
Wow. Here, you have to take a theoretical course (which you can take when you're over 15), then you get a permit, which you can use to ride mopeds, light motorcycles (<125cc), snowmobiles and tractors. (with a guardian, which is a person over the age of 25, that has had a licence in that class for at least 5 consecutive years), then when you turn 16 you can start driving cars with a guardian. (also "heavy" motorcycles, you can get a licence for a moped, light motorcycle, snowmobile or tractor) Then when you turn 18, you can get your full licence. Then there's some more licences, like bus, trucks, etc. which have their own age requirements.
Jeez. Here you can get a permit at 15 and 9 months (which allows you to drive with someone 21+ with a FULL license for 3+ years). You have to hold the permit for 9 months minimum, take a 30 hour drivers ed class, drive 3 times for 2 hours with the instructor (normal town driving, parallel parking, then highway driving), then take a road test (parallel parking, back into parking space, drive around for 15 minutes). Now that I'm 14 days from the test I'm kinda getting super nervous :(
Heh. I took a 15-question written test for my permit, and my license test was a 10 minute drive around the block, didn't even have to parallel park :v: [editline]2nd February 2013[/editline] This is why america is full of bad drivers :v:
I had to retake the written test three times before I got my learner's permit. I kept getting stupid questions like "WHAT IS THE LEGAL TOWING CAPACITY FOR A CLASS WHATEVER TOW TRUCK?" and I read the entire fucking driver's manual that they gave me, too. When I went in about a year later to get my full driver's license, they basically just said "yeah whatever", took my picture and gave me the license.
Wasnt driving the Lincoln. Was driving my dads Grand Marquis
I posted that before seeing the actual pictures you posted. :\ Edit: And I assumed you were driving your Blazer.
It's actually a 330xi. So it has a bit better performance and power than the 328. That and the all wheel drive makes it fly off the line.
Everything I've read the xi is a tad slower with an average 0-60 of 6.7 to 6.9 seconds. You'd Take a 3900 Impala no problem but not really blow him outta the water.
Oh good lord, having diarrhea and puking my guts out is a very bad combo. I had to make some hard decisions today... :v:
And this is why u must ALWASE carry a roll of toilet paper with you in your car. JUST IN CASE!
People laugh at me and think I'm crazy for having a roll in my Glove box...
I keep a roll of paper towels in my trunk, greater variety of uses :v:
Anyone know what the R rating on corners is called? Like a 100R corner, ect.
Sharpness? (guessing)
100R means the corner has a radius of 100 meters.
Was sitting in a turn lane, left turn yield of course, with a guy in a lifted Toyota pickup in front of me. He was slowly rolling forward, so I was rolling forward behind him keeping a gap. The light turned green in the other two lanes to my right, but a bus was sitting at a bus stop on the other side of the intersection pretty much blocking the lane, so a car in the far right lane wasn't moving. The person behind them was a little upset about that I guess, so they started honking their horn a bunch. Next thing I know the guy in the truck in front of me sticks his arm out the window and flips me off before getting out of the turn lane and merging with traffic. I've never been so confused in my life. [editline]2nd February 2013[/editline] Also, it was foggy as hell this morning.
I keep a roll of paper towels in my trunk, greater variety of uses :v:
in Minnesota, you'd be stupid not to have toilet paper and a large knife in your glove box
So I touge'd an Integra and just owned a BMW 325i. Bimmer guy followed me for blocks, bewildered and honking at me how I managed to pass him. He yells at me, "I fucking love your car man!" I uh, am driving the shit out of my GF's car
in Minnesota, you'd be stupid not to have toilet paper and a large knife in your glove box
Never know when you'll plaster a deer and need to field dress it.

Went to Harbor Freight and bought some dollies, cheater bar, and a battery kill-switch. I'm going to hide the battery kill-switch under the dash. Ain't noone stealing my baby.
I'm going to hide the battery kill-switch under the dash. Ain't noone stealing my baby.
We'll see about that now that everyone knows where it's going to be.
