This is a bit of a stretch, though does anyone know if I could get pulled over if the passenger side mirror is broken? I need to borrow my mom's van to get to school unless I can carpool with someone, though she clipped the mirror a few hours ago when she was backing out of the garage. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have me on the van's insurance, so I'd prefer if I wasn't driving around in something that screamed "Ticket me!" when I'm still on my G2 licence. I'm in Ontario, if that helps.
I doubt a broken mirror matters, some older cars don't even have passenger side mirrors [editline]3rd February 2013[/editline] that being said, I don't know, that's just my guess
zip tie/tape the mirror back on

Driver's side and windshield-mount rear-view, or driver's side and passenger side, or any combination really. Just two.

One of which must be the rearview mirror [editline]3rd February 2013[/editline] I dont know to tell you the truth. I dont have time to look it up
We'll see about that now that everyone knows where it's going to be.
Well, to be fair, I have a few ideas about where I'm going to put it. Hell, I might buy two more and route them to different hiding spots in the car.
Still waiting on my alternator and cables. I also ordered new spark plugs, cables, rotor and cap.

Send me $500 plus the new part plus you pay for the postage because I have better things to do than fix your huge mistake.
I bought a w123 mercedes some time ago and I just fell in love with it. I have to buy another mercedes. I was thinking of something sporty and sleek and I spotted a great deal for a '95 SL320. But there's also a pretty cool '88 560SEC for around the same price. Should I get the R129 SL or the W126 SEC? The SEC is black on black and a real beast but the SL is probably a much better value for money.

They're becoming classics by now, soon prices will probably rise and it'll be worth more. The SL's are already classics so they cost a lot more in every aspect. It obviously also depends on what you want, but seeing you coming from an E-class, you'd probably fit better in an S-class, not SL. :v: [editline]edit[/editline] The SEC's prices are already rising though. I'm honestly not sure what I'd do, because I love both cars. What engine are you looking for in either one?
Failed the test :suicide: Well there goes another 500$ for a handfull of lessons and a new exam.
Failed the test :suicide: Well there goes another 500$ for a handfull of lessons and a new exam.
I failed my first time too. The car was rolling at a red light, I didn't hold the brake down until it became green so I failed :v:

I found a 240sx (S13) and a Diesel VW Rabbit just like Ldesu has but white like my cabby. They are on a abandoned car lot all sad looking... Bundle deal? :v:
They say the best drivers pass second time
True. My pops passed on the first time but a week later he hit a pole and 2 weeks later he totaled his BMW.
My best friend gets his license in 7 days  Next week will be fun :D
They say the best drivers pass second time
Aw ye. I nailed it the second time
Aw ye. I nailed it the second time
Me too :v:
3th time.. I was the fastest at my racing license though :v:
I failed my initial permit test, but for the actual full license I passed first time :v: Not to sound smug or anything, I was ecstatic
Here´s too waiting a couple of weeks before I can retake the exam while the car is sitting right outside my window :v:
our university's new bike, ready to be prepped and raced, just need the bike dyno to be installed now [t]http://i.imgur.com/u5t9kVY.jpg[/t]
My friend has one of those accords with the auto transmission problems and is getting transmission problems. It's drivable and will probably stay that way for a while, but since attention will eventually have to be paid to it, I'm thinking about whether or not a manual conversion would be worth it, since he'd definitely be interested in it unless he has the money to get rid of the car. It's an I4 model, not sure of the exact year but it's a 6th gen. I'm thinking if the engine has a decent amount of miles it'd be worth it, considering an auto replacement won't be cheap anyway, and being a teen with low paying jobs and school, replacing the car might not be a good option if the rest of the car is in good shape. Plus, replacing with another auto just to have the same problems would really suck.
I passed the first time, and then I backed into a suburban sitting in our driveway the next day. Suburban was, interestingly enough, unscathed. The car I was driving, however, was not.
Passed first time, 3rd day of owning my first car and I parked it in the back of a stationary Transit flatbed at 30mph :v: Also hating on my car leaking water. No idea where its coming in and its driving me mad
