Not all new cars are made out of cheap plastic, you know. It's just that manufacturers are shitting out so many generic economy-class cars it becomes hard to see the excellent quality new cars out there.
Like Hyundai's, holy shit are they awful. Driving in them is like driving in a plastic tank
There are vans out there that could probably out-accelerate the new Hyundai's
See that white challenger in the background, Go get that
The dart looks far more sporty than the other 2 which are just sport hatch backs. Im trying to keep my dodge bias out of my opinion here but the design of the dart just flows much better. If its the turbo model with the manual trans I'd imagine it would be fun to drive. The stripe looks pretty cool but I think the blue mopar version looks far better.
If I ever was gonna get a brand new car....

I'd have something that matches my old one
If I were to buy a newer vehicle it would be one of the newer rams or the 2011 mopar charger, my local dealer has one and I fell in love immidiately.
It was at 64,345 at an emission inspection station in 1999, then at 164,510 at a motor vehicle department in 2003, then at 79,136 at another emissions place in 2006, then at 84,410 at a dealership last year.
Other than that though, it's fine. No accidents, no salvage title, not rebuilt, etc. I'll know more once I go test drive it and check it out
Sounds like a record keeping accident. Note without the extra 100,000 miles the mileages look correct.

If those are your choices, I'd go for the Dodge. If I were to buy a new car (and if I could afford it, of course), I'd probably get an Audi or a BMW. The new VW Passat is looking quite nice too.

to be honest if it drives fine, mile age doesn't really matter that much..

fucking autoplaying vimeo scaring me with crsh.
pretty cool though.
Just got a date for my new exam, Going to have to wait an entire month...
First driving lesson went ridiculously well, my 3 years of motorbike experience helped me a ton.
Even my instructor was surprised how quickly I picked everything up and how little mistakes I made.
Yay :v:

Yeah, except usually price depends on mileage... Buying a 70,000 mile car vs. a 170,000 mile car can be the difference between a few thousand dollars.

I don't need toys, I have simi.
But I'm never accepting free shipping from late model restoration, the post office said the way they
sent it can take six to eight weeks...
Ain't nobody got time for that!!
It's been nine days since I ordered some shit from RHDJapan, and it's still processing :(
First they didn't know what issue of Option I wanted (I forgot to tell them when ordering), then a keyring was discontinued so I chose an issue of Drift Tengoku instead and the one I asked for was out of stock.
Now I'm buying either the Jan '13 or the April '12 issue, I told the poor man I've been mailing to choose for me :v:

I'd consider the golf before the hideous Hyundai thing.
Aren't Hyundai's and Kia's known to "fall apart" after a certain number of miles? Or was that just their cars from the 90-mid 2000's?
I am pretty sure I've heard several times never to buy older used ones because of that reason.
How about a subaru?

Buy the subaru. subaru suubbbaaarrruuuuuuu.
I don't know about america, but Hyundai in the UK have a 7 year warranty as standard.

I don't know about you guys, but the new Kia's are actually starting to look nice. I am assuming they have turned into decent cars...

New ones come with good warranties. AFAIK, all their cars come with a 5 year 60,000 mile comprehensive warranty, with a 10 year 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty. Rust warranty is good for 10 years
Build quality has gone up greatly.
YESSS.
My dad and his girlfriend bought a Mitsubishi Endeavor and I'll be getting her 04' Chevrolet Cavalier at some point! It has a few problems, like the cruise control doesn't work (Didn't have that at all on the corolla anyway) and only one high beam works. As a person without a lot of experience with cars and a basic knowledge of electricity, would it be a good idea to try fixing it myself or should I get someone who knows what they're doing to help?
You're excited about moving from a Corolla to a Cavalier?
Oh lawd help this child

I've only been able to drive the Corolla 5 times in the past four months, it's at my mom's and my brothers hate lending it out to me since they have to drive 20 minutes to my place, then I have to drive them back to my mom's.
Believe me, I would take a Corolla over a Cavalier any day of the week, though right now my choice is taking the bus or the Cavalier. And the bus system in my city isn't great.

Have you learned to not buy a vehicle with anyone unless both of your names are on a Marriage certificate yet?

Would like a GTI, but I don't want to spend more than $25k, all taxes and fees included. Looks like they start at $24,600 :suicide:
