Anyone have experience with MSD Coils? Thinking of buying a Blaster 2 because my 24 year old bosch coil seems to have had enough. I traced my bad idle down to that because the coil resistances are out of spec (ded)
I had a blaster 2 coil on a Mazda dirt oval car and that thing was junk. Swapped it for an OEM coil after it died (2 races).
Ran out of hamsters at 95MPH. 110HP isn't enough.
Is it bad If I'd consider driving a Chevy Citation. (If I could find an X-11)
Is it bad If I'd consider driving a Chevy Citation. (If I could find an X-11)
chevy citation is a pretty good car if you can ignore the reliability issues. especially if you've got one with an LH7 or L44 in it, those engines are killer
Never felt so deflated in my whole life. Get barked at at work which barely pays you a living wage. After I got out at 10:00PM, went to car meet to only be greeted by bewildered and angry faces. Never got to talk to anyone and left. Got home and realized the brand new power steering line I bought and installed is now leaking. I might lose my last paycheck due to family reasons so that pushes my engine build back several weeks again. Cherry on top, I have attained a sinus infection and I am hearing like I am in a wind tunnel. I'm too tired and am not well AA...

Just stay at it, most people normally ditch all that kinda stuff because they don't want to deal with it. Don't try to accomplish something when you're not feeling up to it, it's really one of the the most miserable things in the world. You're probably overlooking something rather small and simple, when you're feeling better just sit there and stare at it for a while and check over everything. I don't know how many times I've tried to throw parts at something without fully knowing the issue and not actually fixed the problem.. You can also use your downtime from being sick to try to schedule up some things, make a list and try to achieve it.
So today we roll out to the field to help train the Georgian army today we are using the fake tanks "MBT's" About half way through the trip out there my temperature gauge was almost past the final "240 F" tick. After a nice long five hour cool down turns out there is about a shot of coolant in the tank. :S Now we are stuck at a FOB "Forward Operating Base" until the mechanics come with more coolant. AWESOME I hate these things so much, also for the ones who don't know what the MBT is please reference the picture bellow
So i picked a bad time to do a shitload of 90MPH Runs on my snowmobile. Either my skid frame is bent, track is stretched or is SEVERLY out of alignment. I just ruined a $80 set of Wear strips. Fuck.
I don't even snow. Also the Fire Marshal and Insurance company came out today the fire marshal declared that the source of the ignition is from lacquer thinner and clear coat mixing inside our vaccume cleaner, which eventually caused kenneling of the wood shavings inside of it. Sounded like a good story to us! All expenses paid!
Uh... Ew, is that the 2.8? Also is that rust I see near the top of the windshield?
Nope, it's a 1.6, My old one was a 1.8 20v And yes that is rust, i'm going to make as much as i care because this car is going to replace my white Golf mk2 (which has 3 months left for inspection, two busted front bearings, a busted headgasket, and the heater core is blocked so it doesn't warm) It's like -3 degrees still, but endless to say i the car cheap, way to cheap...

You can get containers that if they combust won't let any more oxygen in and therefore suffocate the fire.

I'd love to have that thing if it didn't have all the meme stickers
I'm glad one Enzo owner gets the most out of his car.
as cool as the f60 is I'd rather have an f40.
The F60 is a Formula 1 car, the Enzo Ferrari is just that, the Enzo Ferrari.
as cool as the f60 is I'd rather have an f40.
please dont call the enzo the f60, they are completely different
I'd love to have that thing if it didn't have all the meme stickers
don't even act like you're too cool for a 'that's what she said' sticker or a 'LOL' stencil on your tail lights, mister don't even try

The chemicals that started the fire was inside the vaccume cleaner! There is not a single can that was the cause. It was the vapors that was from the chemicals! Now I don't want this to be posted anymore PM me on steam if anyone gives a shit.

I honestly think I could shit a better car than that rx-7
jomt, let's build one! Also, now I am back to thinking about getting the '86 300zx I was looking at a while ago. I still think it's beautiful. If it's still available that is.. he was willing to sell for a little less than a hundred bucks. The engine started, but it wasn't "driveable" and the window had a crack which might cover too much of the view to be legal.

One each :v: But I'd only use it during summers as a toy car, and use a Volvo 745 to get to/from work and other places (mebbe take the RX7 for fun sometime)
Since you americans don't get to see the land of the volvo tuners as often as we do. Here's an example of what happens from time to time, it's currently for sale too. Custom Volvo 242 with a 350. (Not currently in it though.) A part of me loathes it, and a part of me wants it more than anything.

The Enzo is a spiritual successor to the F40 and F50, as it was their halo car of that gen. But in no way is the Enzo referred to as the F60. Just like the Nissan GT-R is not a Skyline.
I like the way volvos look (except for those tail lights that's a disaster), I wouldn't mind having one with a stupid powerful engine in it
