Your car is fucked, you need a new one
Thought so. [editline]12th February 2013[/editline]
Cut wires, dead relay, burnt motors
Im afraid of this. When it gets warmer out, I'll tear it all out
So the 2005 Ford Freestyle I'm driving is nearing its 100,000th mile. What, if any, special maintenance things should I do then? [editline]12th February 2013[/editline] I'm thinking oil change (as usual, we've changed it every 10k miles), air filter maybe (hasn't been replaced ever as far as I know), maybe have the CVT inspected, just basic stuff like that.
A lot of my friends keep the regular seats on the passenger side, with some fancy Recaro racing seats on the driver side. They don't usually drive with the passenger seat in though. Me, I have regular leather seats in my car. Because Audi. :) Definitely ordering a pair of Recaro seats for my LSx E30 build though.
240 guys here ride Bride seats with little padding. Their passenger seats are also racing seats but with more padding and the reclining type.
Not sure if I'd ever buy bride seats, if only because they're so associated with ricers here. Most of those ones I see look pretty bad too. I know Recaro has the TOPLINE seats that go for like $1,200, then they have the exact same seat but without power adjustment, comfort package (vents & seat heat) for ~$900. $1,800 for a pair of Recaros ain't bad.
You're wrong, that's a 262c :v: Anyway, there is a following over here, trust me. I know one or two people with bigass turbos, ive seen a few with 5.0 engines. The community over here is mostly into 850/s70's though. My next project will be the same thing except ill be using a Datsun 280z with a turboed L28. Hoping for something like this, but with more dents and rust. (well less but you know, you can't have everything)
First of all, no, it's a custom Volvo 242, he has taken parts from the 262 though. Second of all, that is amazing and I can't wait to see your project finished! I love the 280z..
I've got a new, motoring related avatar!
MBT is a classification of tank not a specific tank iirc
They are called MBT because we can set them to be just about any countries "Main Battle Tank" Today we want it to be an M1A2 we set it to M1A2, T-80 today set to T-80 ect, ect, ect. if you don't know please ask, I've been doing this job more than one day. ;)
Sorry, but that chop top is fucking stupid.
Tell that to Bertone... How do you know it's not a 242, though?
I hate being doomed to a life with parents who doesn't own cars, and a house without garage :(
no garage is my nightmare and it's a living hell cuz I really don't have a garage fuuuu
who needs a garage also who needs parents with cars
99% chance of rain every day of the year in Britain is why I want a garage.
who needs cars

And this is why our technology of electric vehicles needs to progress even more, the fact that we still have cells that respond to day-to-day weather. Li-Po for Li-Fe! Even tho Li-Po's have a nice fire hazard.

So after 5 days of test driving, evaluating, and nitpicking over 30 cars, I found the car I want. And I'm honestly surprised as to my choice. '01 Mustang GT Roush Stage 3. She's big, black, beautiful, and the sound of that supercharged v8 raises the hair on my neck. 47k on the odo and she runs beautifully. I'll be finishing up financing later this week, probably Friday. These make 360 at the crank and roughly 340-350 at the wheels. The Roush stage 3 includes an awesome bodykit with side pipes, full suspension including bilsteins, lowering springs, a 33mm front sway bar, and chassis stiffening. 10 inch wide rims in the rear, 9 inch in the front. 6 pounds of boost cranks out the extra 100 horse from the 4.6l v8. Goddam, I sound like a car salesman. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_35701.JPG[/t] [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_35711.JPG[/t]
whats the insurance on that thing
la li lu le lo
The Patriots!?!
whats the insurance on that thing
I'm looking at $350/mo. I was paying $300/mo on the Miata, so it's not going to hurt very bad at all. And the monthly payment is also $230 cheaper, so that's a bonus. The insurance company only recognizes the vin as a regular old GT, so the supercharger didn't make any difference in insurance.
You'll fail because you're thinking that you'll fail
whoops my post didn't make sense [editline]13th February 2013[/editline] fixed
