I'm test driving a 1985 12a RX7 today! It's an amazing deal, the guy selling it bought it 5 years ago during a mid life crisis and spent around 12,000 restoring it. The paint is new, the interior is new, the engine has been cleaned, the carbs rebuilt, the only mechanical problem is that the choke doesn't stay out by itself. He posted it for $4,500 but he said he'd come down to $3,500 for me. I love rotaries and the fact that I grew up with my Dad's FB is kinda neat, kinda like the idea of having an RX7 in the family again. Guy works for the school and works in my major so I know he's not screwing with me. He said when he bought it it was because he had one in the 80's and he wanted his car back, he said he's over it now and just wants to unload it since he doesn't drive it much. Here's the listing, I've seen it in person and it really is in excellent shape. http://statesboro.craigslist.org/cto/3574870929.html
Gorgeous car. I wish there were this kind of deals in my area. Hope the test drive goes well.
Any tips for parallel parking and backing into a space? I think I have parallel parking down but I literally only backed in to a space twice with the instructor. Backing into a space is the first part, then parallel parking, then road test.
dont hit the cones
dont hit the cones
would've been funnier if I wasn't freaking out
Thanks for sharing that information.... after you asked

I had to clean the entire car inside and outside.. YUM
Welp, no test-drive today because I forgot I had a lab I had to be at. Re-scheduled to next Tuesday, maybe I'll be clear for a loan by then at least! On another sad note, got rear-ended with my girlfriend in the car today... a week after my girlfriend got rear-ended with me in the car. I'm not too sure what those odds are... I don't think it's totaled but I'll find out I guess. My girlfriends Cavalier is totaled though (Not surprised, I hate that car). Thankfully we're both ok, had whiplash from the Cavalier accident but not this one which I'm glad for. This might be the first day my neck isn't sore. Sorry about the size.
lol@ totaled for a boot
you're obv. meant for eachother
Im fairly Impressed, Turns out a 2011 Dodge ram with a big ass snowmobile trailer behind it doesn't handle to bad while doin 140kph. Hadn't planned on doing that or would I normally, but I didn't get to choose where i was when i got the "Your sister is nearly dead get to the ER now" call.
lol@ totaled for a boot
Yeah, the car isn't worth very much (says a lot about the car since it's an 05) so it'd cost less just to pay for the car than the repairs.
that'd be a write-off a bit different than totaled
got some 295/45/18 nitto NT555R tires for free and threw em on the cobra hoping they would fit they do until someone sits in it lol oh well maybe if i rolled my fenders and didn't hit any bumps? w/e
it's 2:45am a blonde babe on a street bike just pulled up at a light next to me 6 inch heels what
Yesterday afternoon I pulled up to a light driving my GF's S13. I look to my right and it's the exact same S13. Blue metallic, silver rims, early body and stock trim. I yelled at the other guy, "nice car!" He looks up all bewildered and laughs heartily. 240 <3
Does anyone here own or have any experience with any 1965-1970 mustang?
Does anyone here own or have any experience with any 1965-1970 mustang?
my grandpa owned an orange '66 with a 200 cu in straight 6 for years. it handled like dirt and wasn't very fast even for the period. definitely a cruiser. get a V8 model if you're getting a first gen mustang
Does anyone here own or have any experience with any 1965-1970 mustang?
I have one out back that is rusted to shit with a v8 and 4 speed (1966 or something), if you want to see anything specific on it or have some questions I can maybe answer them, I havent driven it, its just sat there.

My current car has 115 bhp lol. It pulls ladies like crazy, but I think it's time for an upgrade. Buick Skylark I've got around 7k to spend on a different car and I kinda want a decent looking mustang to take to college. Are the older mustangs reliable? I'm still not quite sure on what car to get though. I want something cool but reasonable with price and reliable, I prefer older vehicles because I think they look better. I've also been thinking about older bugs as well. You can get a lot of bug for 7k. Anyone have any good ideas for cars to buy? I'm open to any good ideas.
LS1 Camaros if they are around for the price near you, or a LT1 would be my choice. Good power, good mileage, cool looking cars. Fox body stangs arent too bad looking either, not a fan of the other years ahead of them though. You can pick up slant 6, 318, or even 340 dodge darts for fairly cheap if your into them. I dont know of many cars outside of what I have had experience with.
NO. Dont get a camaro if you get a fourth gen F body, get a firebird, much nicer. :v:
