I mean sure, you can take your kid's soccer team to the field in any van, and they'll eventually get there...
I'd love to turbo a minivan someday
Only thing I'd love even more is seeing the facial expressions of the people I beat :v:

Quite a few of those old chrysler vans came turboed with a 2.2/2.5, not sure if they ever put the gross neon engine in them.
Wagons are useful, yes, but sometimes I wish I had a trunk and not just a cover for the rear area.

I'm sorry I still would never own a mini van, there have been too many bad drivers that I know, cough
soccer moms cough, and they gave me a bad experience with mini vans.

So it's snowing like crazy here, supposed to be a foot of snow by tonight. Went on a test drive to see how bad the roads were. Big roads are decent, small roads are kinda bad, almost no cars on the road. Decided this was drifting paradise and went on some small roads to do some ~tyte doriftu stunts~. It was all fun and games till I got to my first slight incline. Car sat there with my wheels spinning for about a minute, eventually threw my car into reverse, spun around 180 degrees and decided "fuck this shit I'm going home" and here I am :v:

You live in the Denver/Aurora area right? Have fun driving today/tomorrow, seeing as how very few roads there get plowed :v:
[editline]24th February 2013[/editline]
Anyone know a good website that gives pricing for cars? KBB doesn't go back to the year I need, and cars.com doesn't have the pricing for the car
www.edmunds.com
A friend came over and fixed my highbeams, we just replaced the ground wire and it worked fine, yay!

Anyone who isn't an idiot uses (or should use) the National Automobile Dealers Association guide.
This is them on the web, anything over 20 years old will be under "Classic".
They don't use mileage as a variable which kinda sucks. Guessing this:

Is overpriced, according to nadaguides

Yeah, south Aurora. Gotta head down to Inverness in the AM for work.

Mileage does not affect a 20+ year old car's pricing. Just as the taxes are exempt as far as mileage for a classic car (20+ years).
[editline]24th February 2013[/editline]
And that is a bit overpriced, sorry.
My friend bought a 89' carina II last week with 250k+ miles on it.
2 previous owners and it's mostly been used for long distance driving, it's in really good condition considering the miles and age
His first car was a mazda 323 with 100k miles on it with ~17 previous owners and it was pretty much scrap
Yeah, I wanna try and see If I can haggle the price down a bit. Seeing as how it's been available for 4-5 months and it's a pretty rare car I don't think they're having much luck selling it :v:
Gonna go take a look at it in a couple weeks, the thing I really like about it is that it's in good condition. Most first gen mr2s I've found have ripped interior seats, cracked dashboard, peeling paint, engine was pushed too hard, etc.
Unless you can knock it down to around $6000 I think you're paying far too much.
[editline]24th February 2013[/editline]
I could warrant 6500 if you REALLY wanted it, but anything over that is ridiculous. They aren't worth a lot, and that's just that. Regardless of how hard to find they are.
If I knew I had the ability to haggle that well I would've had the car by now :v:
I found this one, great price but it's auto: http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3578199328.html
Phuck yeah 80 mile drive, saw a rusty dodge rampage and did some sik Wheelin
111,000 thousand miles
Shit, that's a lot of miles.
EDIT: For those that missed it, I was joking that 111,000 thousand miles = 111 million miles.
Shit, that's a lot of miles.
Are...
....are you serious?
[editline]24th February 2013[/editline]
I've just got the joke, I think.
111000k is quite a lot :v:
Not at all, with my car at about 230k, there was still crosshatch on the cylinder walls. (1989)
We put 170k on our Mazda we still don't think it has a ton of miles. (2000)
