I'm assuming it's a typo.
Well yeah unless it's somehow managed to do 11000 miles every day past 27 years
I know there is a guy on Armslist selling an 86 Fiero fastback.
Someone should have mentioned Jettas were gas hogs. Jeez, it's been a week and I've used half a tank..I haven't gone far.
I put in about 10 dollars damn near every single day.
What engine does it have? the 2.8L or 4.2L? [editline]fdjgnfg[/editline] You have the 2.8L hue hue hue Engine Buddies.
Its the 4.2  It's hilariously quiet for such a big engine. In the few months it's functioned, I've much enjoyed peoples' expressions as I floated past their soupcan tailpipes whilst roaring with the volume of an idle hybrid. :v:
That sound fun to try to figure out... Bradley watcha think? Timing or A terrible ECU that decides its a good time to just dump fuel?
Hmm... I, a mech buddy, and a shop all think the timing is fine. We're running out of options besides the ECU, and ECU's for that year are super expensive. :suicide:
How about! Because German!
It's an A8, but this pretty much sums up how I feel right now: [img_thumb]http://assets.diylol.com/hfs/8a2/f40/ed1/resized/audi-s4-meme-generator-buy-an-s4-they-said-it-will-be-fun-they-said-a40b30.jpg?1355628896.jpg[/img_thumb] I miss my corolla... at least when it died, it did so all at once, after a couple years of heavy use.
9pm on a snowy Sunday night. The perfect night to go out and drift around the empty industrial park. It's really tough to drift in a FWD car, but all I need to do is perfect the "Scandinavian flick".
If I knew I had the ability to haggle that well I would've had the car by now :v: I found this one, great price but it's auto: http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3578199328.html
Uh... That's really not a great price, especially for an auto. Don't get it
I had my first encounter with icy roads. Pulled a mad tight JDM dorifuto through a corner getting to my friends house, was rather exciting. I have the blood lust.

Agh. Zilvia is down. It's like the blackmarket of all things Nissan 240SX. It's been down for days now and its like being disconnected with your family. T.T
Is the original 1990 200sx something you can build on, or would you recommend an engine swap. It's at a mere 168hp original.. The If it isn't, I'll likely buy a '87 Supra and upgrade that til' it's fun.
Speaking of 240's, integrabro's 240 just blew a head gasket. >Nissan Kinda sucks for him, although it's ironic that his car blew a head gasket before the 1980s engine notorious for eating head gaskets did. Everyone I know is having major car problems but me. I'm just waiting for something catastrophically bad to happen to my Toyota.
Got a job again, finally. ALSO, the Cobra will be on its way to my High School soon, so we can put it up on the lift and get things done quickly. I hope to see it done in a week after it gets up there. Expect videos, pictures, and updates on it soon. iowaejfowe Im happy agian, for once in a long time.
Believe it's law that what ever the speed your group on the highway is doing you have to do, Atleast in New York. It's why cops can't pull you over or 99.99% don't try in packs. If your in a pack of cars doing 100mph then validly you should be doing 100mph, if you arn't comfortable doing so you get out of the way out of that pack and sit in the right lane. If your pulled over after a group of cars (We're talking like 3-5 or more cars not including yourself) then you can validly say "I was following the speedlimit of surrounding cars). Now if your by yourself or with another mate "racing" then enjoy your ticket and points.
I know I'm really late, but I just read this.
Always drive at or below the speed limit. If you choose to follow the crowd and travel at the same speed as everyone else, you could receive a ticket for speeding. The law does not make exceptions because everyone else is speeding too. You just might be the unlucky one in the one pack who happens to get caught – or the one who has to take an evasive action to prevent a crash.
http://www.safeny.ny.gov/spee-ndx.htm#exceeding
Black market... Family... Have they made you an offer you can't refuse yet?
He traded in his first born son.
Ordered the seat tracks, ordering full drivers side floorpan within this week.

i posted that on my facebook first loozer
traction control? you mean the throttle pedal??
i still have no idea how a car with ABS and TCS feels like to drive. my car has neither
Mileage does not affect a 20+ year old car's pricing. Just as the taxes are exempt as far as mileage for a classic car (20+ years). [editline]24th February 2013[/editline] And that is a bit overpriced, sorry.
Not true on taxes. I paid taxes when I registered my 1981 Toyota pickup 4wd. Then this year I payed property taxes on it. But we pay taxes on everything atvs motorcycles ect.
I put in about 10 dollars damn near every single day.
yeah but I no longer have a job
I've had about 20 driving lessons now and I'm still shit. Not quite as bad as I was before but still feel like I'm not in control. I think driving may not be for me, all of the stuff that involves people being behind you just scares the shit out of me. If a van is behind me I'll almost always stall when trying to set off because it just makes me so damn nervous. Roundabouts are even worse, I get so scared of them (for reasons unknown) that I just stop and wait for my instructor to tell me what to do. Feeling like a right dick and I don't enjoy the experience at all - but my Mum insists that I keep at it. I think the majority of my problems come from me just being generally frightened of whatever I do, and I hate it when other people are waiting on me - I end up either trying to rush or just full on panicking which then makes me fuck the job up completely. It's getting to the stage where I'll start worrying about my lesson two days before it, I'm thinking I should probably quit but I don't want to make my Mum angry.
If you can't handle a manual, try an auto out, and you are just nervous, it will come to you eventually.
You're still charged a vehicle tax regardless. But mileage no longer affects the taxes after 20 years.
It don't effect it here either. Even for a new one. They just go by year make and model.
