Oh cool, are you doing formula student? Thinking of joining the team next year seeing as first years don't really know anything about cars and add nothing to the team :v:
Formula student is more final year/year 3 (depending on course level) thing, for our uni anyway
My roommate joined in his 3rd year so I guess that's the case here too... Oh well I wish I spent more time looking around at fresher's fair, I haven't joined any societies yet and I've got a lot of free time to play with. Perhaps get a job and join the Go-Karting team. [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] Or maybe become a community support officer. har har har
There's already a Facepunch group for Forza 4. FPAA, Facepunch Automotive Addicts. [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] Send a request to the group and I'll approve it.
See, I fucking knew that was the club :v: My GT is Mr Neopeger (oh God why do I even post here I don't own a car just a game) [editline]11th October 2012[/editline] Also, brap braap

That's what really makes it fun.
We also need special drifting, Like drifting with station wagons etc. Or racing with Smart cars. you know, Just some special events.
We also need special drifting, Like drifting with station wagons etc. Or racing with Smart cars. you know, Just some special events.
I've got a audi wagon good to go for drifting. fuck, i want an audi wagon, would make for the best winter car.
Like the airsoft section, we got IFAP as in International Facepunch Airsoft Players :v:
The crew for Max Payne is FAPS, or Forcefully Aggressive Punching Squad. Certainly not as creative, but it can get added to the list of all the FP innuendo clans.
We should have our own Forza club (granted that there's enough people on here to use it). I'm getting sick of /o/ scheduling their races to times when I have work. [thumb]http://puu.sh/142E6[/thumb]
Does /o/ play Gran Turismo 5? I've seen Forza 4 threads and the hype of Horizon, but I never see anyone mention GT5.
GT5 is more for serious racers, where Forza is for hooning and such. And nobody I know of in AA has a PS3 + GT5. If I had a PS3, I'd definitely get it and be on the list. I'm a GT guy.
Got my kn filter in the mail today, slapped it into the housing and took it for a drive My car accelerates quickly now, maybe a bit too quickly. I feel like the filter is a bit too snug, and the housing isn't completely closed. Either that, or the air filter hadn't been changed in years and this is how my car is actually supposed to accelerate. From a standstill, my car goes up to 3k rpm in about 4-5 seconds, and before this new filter it would take about 7-8 to reach 3k. It's scaring me, what do
embrace it
I like people going "Car accelerate way better with new K&N filter!", maybe with proper basic maintenance you wouldn't experience this kind of feel. You don't even seem to know when the air filter was changed, how?
I play GT5 ;D

And plus the car was sitting somewhere unused for a long time before it was put on auction

my accord now, 2.3 v4 sounds like this wat anyway yeah. bad vid quality. Alot louder in person
Blood comes out of carpet, right?
not very well still have some blood stuck in my carpet after a minor incident with the dog [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] spot shot that shit IMMEDIATELY
Blood comes out of carpet, right?
You're supposed to put the body in a garbage bag before you put it in the car.
BloggyNick: Went to class went to gym went home went to best buy dorifted back home (nt-05 in the rain, ffs) went to class again ouch my muscles
Kinda uneducated in steering/suspension parts and their names, but I'm wondering what this certain part is called. On the other end it attaches to the frame, and on my vehicle the rubber part the bolt attaches into is cracked and worn right out. (Also, it's not my picture, but just one I found on google of the same piece of shit van.) https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27875543/PA070011.jpg
Tie rod? I'm gonna have to learn all this suspension stuff eventually. I gotta know which hunks of rust correspond to which suspension parts when it comes time for me to fix up the Cressida.
Nah, tie rod is the detached one leaning off to the left. Front of the vehicle is to the right in that picture.
That's your "radius arm", sir.
Ah, alright thanks!
It's raining now and my car is far from weatherproof. Huge holes in the trunk door, leaking rubber stripping, sunroof too. I believe the stripping for my engine bay is also gone so eugh
put a tarp over it?
