Probably wouldn't hurt to start a new one. I'd like to organize some races in the future if enough people would be interested.
B class, please. I love my Cosworth RS500.
Fuck i had a bout of roadrage
some asshole was tailgating me and i may of gone a bit overboard and thrown a screwdriver out the window...
My regret is losing the screwdriver.
also in afterthought i feel like a cunt because some random person may run that over and pop a tire (im an asshole)
B class, please. I love my Cosworth RS500.
Actually I was probably gonna make the first race a run of the mill B-Class race.
B-class has the best balance between speed and difficulty. You can get away with no having aero sometimes, and there's a lot of variety (so long as nobody is picking leaderboard cars).
[sp]also it was going to be B-class because I suck at everything else[/sp]
This looks like its in decent shape. Sadly its going to scrap auction.

I'm sure Ontarians will understand this: I passed my G test today! You know what I did to celebrate? I bought a motorcycle!

gentlemen I give you the GMC Mitsubishi Honda Grand Cherokee F250 Super Duty Beretta V8 Magnum Hemi Diesel Power Stroke.
I laughed way too hard
reminds me of the time we put a "powered by ford" and a "4x4" chrome badges on my friends civic but he got mad and ripped them off
i would do that if I had a beretta like that too
what I really love about it is how they took off the chevy badge on top of putting all those other badges on
it has to be ironically done
Seeing that beretta hurts a little. I really like the Beretta. It's a decent car.

It has sweet European quad headlights that you could probably never find too:

It was pulling a 7.6 0-6 in 1990, outrunning "fast" economy cars like the CRX Si (8.6), Corrado G60 (8.8), Golf GTI (8.3), 325i (7.7), and even the non-turbo versions of Japanese flagship cars like the Supra and RX-7. And that's not bad for a half decent looking american FWD coupe, which costed around $10,745 when it came out. The Toyota Supra costed $22,860 that same year.
The fact that it's such a good performer just makes it all the more sweet that the two-door Corsica is available for ~$1500 and under now. In the end they ruined the car with a 3.1 V6 in the "performance" model, replacing the outstanding Quad 4, but I'm still okay with that; it was offered with a manual, and 160+ horsepower with a 5 speed behind it and immense torque for an economy car is just a recipe for fun.
tl;dr I fucking love the Beretta (and its 4-door sster, the Corsica).

When it was running. :v:
When it was running. :v:
Which was all the time. The Quad 4 was far more reliable than other Chevy engines at the time.
i put a hamburger in my beretta's food hole and now it won't run
help

That's not saying much considering the time period. :v:

This? :v:
Thanks asshole you made me spill my coke all over my table..
But it was worth it :v:
I am tired of getting 4-8 mpg with my truck.
What's a decent car that gets great gas mileage but isn't slow as hell, look really bad that is under $2000?
I'm around the Houston area also.
So you want good mileage, but not slow, and under $2000 while not looking terrible?
Old Honda's aren't too expensive and if you know what to look for you can get one with plenty of horsepower (for a budget Honda anyway.)
Where do you live so we can scour your kijiji/Craigslist/equivalent?

Yeah
Gas Mileage is most important though.
I'm 17 so insurance is probably another factor to take into consideration.

Can you drive a stick? That opens up your options a bunch. Especially for price.

Yup
Manual makes driving fun!
Civics are p bad on insurance for young guns. As I'm only a bit under 25 I still get shit insurance prices, it was $20 cheaper for me when I insured my C4 Corvette than insuring my 1990 Honda Civic.

I'm at like $120 for my '67 F100.
It was like $35 for my parents until they put me on the plan.
My Civic is $76 and the 'vette was $56. Haha.

I'm paying the same for my Golf mk2 with a 55bhp 1.3 litre engine
then i do for my corrado wich is like 4 times that bhp...
It's just bloody stupid
Yeah I get bored flooring it in my Prelude since that's all you have to do... floor it :p
I found a few things you might be interested in. But first I'd like to mention plenty Texas driver seem to be lazy with how many goddamn automatics are out there :I
http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/3333897872.html
This listing looks good because he has all the records and even posted the VIN. I'm sure I shouldn't have to explain how useful CarFax is, so that's nice. It probably sounds like a fart cannon with the modified exhaust the guy seems to not want to show, but it sounds like he hasn't touched the engine bay with anything retarded. My guess is it's a F22B2 engine, which IIRC is like 130bhp, which my Prelude has the F22A1 with 135bhp and that's pretty fast for a fuel economic engine and an automatic, so it shouldn't be arduously slow.
I'd also of course have to plug the Prelude in:
http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/3279438887.html
The paint on this one is much better than mine, it has actual rims instead of steelies and hubcaps like mine, comes with the H23 engine @ 160bhp, and while it's not obvious if it's auto or manual, the only Prelude generation with a shitty auto trans is the 5th, which this is not a 5th gen. And IDK how much you care about AC not working, I don't ever use mine what with the sunroof and all that.
You might also look at Subarus, which for your price range there aren't a lot, but this was probably the best non-automatic (and supposedly working) one I could find:
http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/3277893854.html
But there's not a lot of info on it. Which is usually not a good indicator.
For your price range though, there's not going to be a lot in great condition, that looks good, or has great gas mileage. All of what I posted should give you at least 20mpg though, or at least in that range, and that's not even highway mileage.
