those aren't that bad... the long ones usually look weird as fuck, atleast for the ae86. I'd probably buy that s13 even with the dent, it looks like a rather easy dent to fix tbh.
Keep the dent
this is too much
Gah, I wish I had an old, cheap/shitty car, that I could just work on without worrying too much. I'm dying to try out my tools (they're not new, but I just recently got a new love for anything with an engine and with it a love for using the tools). I think I'll open up the final drive of my bike when I get home to count the teeth, thinking about maybe changing it, so that I'll get either a acceleration boost or a top speed boost.

Was dying to do stuff to it that wouldn't invalidate insurance so I ended up changing the radio. Twice.
remember how I manually flipped 92 images about 3 weeks ago (the car show pictures on my site?) yeah well apparently the database got fucked up when I switched hosts and I have to flip them all again :suicide:

But I guess I'll just have to stick to my RC car (I wonder if I'll ever get it to run again...), and fixing my motorcycle. Now that you've reminded me: I've got a Sony Radio unit, with exchangeable frontcover, which has an AUX input on the front. Does anyone know if I could get one with a USB and just put it on (as long as the connections line up), and have it working?
Had to go pick up my sister from work, when I got there the over-flow carpark was empty which was basically just a soggy churned-up field so I had a bit of a laugh skidding about on it in my Corsa. It's got a nice thick coat of mud up the sides now and it seems to make a weird noise on ignition but I'm not sure if that's related.
argh, still need to fix some stuff on the old Benz mechanically speaking. Luckily, its' simple stuff. Going to take a train to Germany sometime soon to get a new cold-start valve from another old W108 model. I still technically do not have my full license, which is fine for now because the old Benz does need some work before it runs smoothly. Engine's fine and all, it's just the stuff around it. The timing belt on it also needs doing, sounds a bit squeaky. Feels like it just needs a new belt, really. It's a tad loose and the rubber marks on the inside are quite worn. Argh, everything on these old Benz's are pretty expensive, glad I saved up some more money beside the car so I have some to fix it up. [editline]edit[/editline] and I found a 1972's S600 horn for sale in Germany. It's a bit longer into the country, however if I'm lucky, I might just take it with me!

Some of the first gens have a 4A-GE in there so you can shop at the AE86 stores when it comes to engines.

Oh dear [editline]14th October 2012[/editline] In other news, I've been at NGK Masters now and I'm editing the pictures ETA Tomorrow
did the driver survive that?
Unrelated to cars in any way except that I saw a Corrado in the parking lot: this is what I did yesterday. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/bAtTH.jpg[/thumb] Totally worth it.
copycat
Get a VW v:v:v
hell pretty much every low-end manufacturer makes a car that has cheap parts and ain't a shit to work with [editline]14th October 2012[/editline] low-end as in not maserati and bugatti
The GTi has a ton of little ticks and odd things to explore without worrying about. I like it.
The GTi has a ton of little ticks and odd things to explore without worrying about. I like it.
But I have to say this, older GTi's, like mk4-5's and down. They get crazy fubar'd quickly. Ask Bradley or me about electrical issues :v:
damn, weather is dropping fast and it has snowed. Won't be long before the supra goes into storage unfortunatly. I'll have to replace one addiction with another, time to hit up the gym seriously
Saw my first snow 3 weeks ago... Got anti rust done, need to switch back to winter tires and ready to supercharge in the winter.
What's snow :v:
Sky semen. It's all slippery.
The nearest SCCA chapter is having one final fun run autocross event in a couple of weeks. If I can get the Chrysler sorted out over this next week or so, I'm going to attend and have some fun before it gets put up for the winter. The trans is going in for the rebuild tomorrow and that'll only take a couple of days, so putting it in next weekend is a strong possibility. I wanna go out and kick some ass with this thing before the weather gets all cold and shitty and I'm holed up in the garage doing interior mods and subframe connectors.
Today, my coworker misplaced a customers coolant reservoir cap. We didn't want to tell the customer, so we decided to use a cap from an employee's car. The customer's car was a Nissan, guess who drives a Nissan? :suicide: Until my coworker buys me a new cap, my coolant cap consists of a rubber glove and a ziptie :v:

It's not the actual radiator cap, it's one of these things: The only purpose it really serves is to keep the coolant from spilling out
DP just asked me to post pictures of GTA 5. I don't even.
