How would I go about removing the "baby teeth" from my 95 Miata?
So I bought a rebuilt head and a decent exhaust manifold off this guy from Zilvia.
But in the process I fucked over my girlfriend's date with her highschool friend. I feel like a total asshole driving so far to get these stupid parts. Getting stuck in traffic then being totally fucking late. Her friend left.
She's all mad at me. I feel sooooo bad. I am an ass
Maybe I can be your girlfriend tonight, sHiBaN...
As a rule of thumb, never do a flush on a autotragic with high mileage. Only drop the pan.

Only 3 months late. But hey, it finally happened
Just got that civic I mentioned a couple pages back, $2700
Drives like magic. It's hard for me to shift it right because I'm so used to my metro shifting hard and being loud/obvious when to shift, while this I can hardly feel or hear it at all haha
Only irrating bit is the guy I bought it from insisted on listing the actual purchase price of the car on my title... so I have to pay close to $200 in taxes to get plates for it. Especially since when he got the title, he didn't pay any tax on it (car was listed for $0)...
I PAID $1000 for my truck, and that's what was listed on the bill of sale, but the state of Washington insisted I pay taxes on the "Fair Market Value" of $3,300.

Was terribad sick today and didn't end up getting active until 5PM. Chevette sold, fuck.
Jap is offering me his GSR swapped CRX again since the sale fell through. It's tempting.
I just got back from the field, now I have to haul ass on getting snow tires on my mustang.

and that was 5 hours ago and it's still snowing
Hopefully it will be snowing when I go home from University so I can do that parallel parking trick we were talking about :v:
So I have a question on transmissions..
the focus has 99.5K miles on it, and I dont know if the tranny has every been flushed, or even changed.
It's a manual, if that makes a difference.
Should I go ahead and do a flush?

I can't understand why people would do that to their car, it doesn't look good in any way at all.

Honestly though, check the thermostat housing. I bet you cracked it. They're terrible about cracking and leaking slightly, and then ruining your new thermostat by sticking it open. Autozone and other parts store sell replacement housings (which is unusual, casted housings are generally a dealer thing). I've went through this on 3 Jeeps through my shop and it is a big pain when you're just doing a simple thermostat job.

Actually, yes, areolop. Those are the wheels used on the 2000-2005 Chevrolet Impala Police Interceptor.

They're pretty well known as "cop car wheels" as that's what they came off of. The interceptor model uses a stock-appearing steel wheel with threaded holes to attach the Interceptor-only center caps.
Pigs are filthy animals too.
See them in their natural habitat, inspecting a crime scene.

oh hey more posts, sorry I'm in slow gear today
[editline]26th October 2012[/editline]
shit ninja'd
Definitely, great wheels. A classic looking steel wheel with a tasteful center cap. It's too bad they only came on the interceptor, they look good on a lot of newer GM models.
Depending on the size of the Rim, Its easy enough to Drill/Tap the 3 holes. Thats what I did (I've got standard wheels, couldnt get 9C1 rims when i needed Winter tires). I've seen quite a few Chevy Ventures, and the newer Uplanders that guy's put them on.
