Can't seem to find any guides, videos, or anything on this so was wondering if you guys could help.
Anyone know if its possible to install a stereo unit on the lower area of a 97 civic EX where the CD player is vs the upper area? If so, how?

For those not aquanted, the Civic EX's have the CD player where the cup holders are under the main unit (you can't see it in the picture since the guy has the cup holder lid up, which blocks the CD player). That's where I'd want to install my stereo unit
I want to put it there because the size is the exact size you'd need to fit a stereo unit inside, so I don't have to buy a mounting kit. It also wouldn't make sense to have 2 CD players installed (what would happen if I just installed it where the radio is). I also don't want to lose my keyless entry, and on the 97 you need the stock stereo installed to have that work.
Problem is, 99% of stuff I find is for installing a new stereo to replace the old radio, when I just want to replace the CD player so I can have my own CD player that has an aux input built in.
You'll have to extend the harness from the upper part of the dash to the lower part so you can plug it in, oh and get an antenna extension if you're planning to use it.
If it fits in there there's no reason you can't mount it there, it's just that you have to hook wires to it.

You can post on an internet forum but you can't use the Steam Mobile app?
wat
Most police issued sidearms are the Glock 18, a 9mm Parabellum-firing pea shooter.
Better than my .38 for sure. Higher energy round and better muzzle velocity. Why the hate for .40 though? Energy of the round is higher than 9mm, velocity is the same.
because .40 is just like a useless round. 9mm or .45 pick one

but thats just my opinion

.40 S&W is better than 9mm and costs about the same.
And is measured properly with GOOD OL' 'MURRICA INCHES.

but if i want power i'd just have .45 plus its cheaper
then again, im not terribly qualifed for pistol talk. ive only shot pistols a few times and my favorite was my friends dads springfield .45 1911
but if you wanna talk rifles, im all over that
Nice and quiet shouldn't be in the same sentence when talking about exhaust.
Actually, the exhaust on my pickup is pretty quiet, but it sounds great. Got a nice burble, but I do wish it was louder.
[editline]30th October 2012[/editline]
Also, .41
or 10mm whatever.
German guns are the best. I've only ever bought German handguns.

Using Greel's version
Once I have money to spare I'm probably going to buy a 9mm. I've shot a friend's P226 several times and I really like it- nice smooth recoil and pretty accurate as well. Only thing I don't like is how generic it looks, but nevertheless it's still a nice gun.
I kinda want a high-caliber revolver too because they're more reliable, but oh well.
I have a .38 special 5 shot revolver, stubnose. It's loud as fuck and only kind of goes where you point it. But it's still fun. Wanted a 22LR revolver as they are cheap to fire and I only shoot for fun.
Dream gun? Probably the Taurus Raging Bull in .454
guns go pew pew
Rifles and Shotguns anyone?
Currently I have a mossberg 12 gauge, benelli supernova, BLR 270.
and some other's...
And knife collections?

Guns are probably easier to get here than down the states, at some point :v:
I hate seeing commercials for new cars that get 40MPG+.
It makes my 15MPG feel so inferior...
Oooh my front driver side hug bearing is worn out, again. Changed it last spring. I sure hope there's a warranty on it.
Found the receipt just now, says I bought it 17/05/2012. :v:

I wouldn't mind a basic Mossberg/Winchester 12 gauge. A nice AK-47/Saiga variant is also good.
I've only ever shot a Kriss Super-V and a SIG552 in .22 really. Need pistol practice
hnnnnnnng mossberg 12 gauge.
IMO went skeet shooting once with my dad and we shot his / mine Weatherby Orion best fucking gun IN THE WORLD.
I like to collect knives and whenever I want to buy one my money hoarding instinct kicks in and says it would be better spent on car stuff.
Might be joining the Cherokee bros, looking for one for winter.

I'm not so sure about that. The day after I turned 21, I bought my .38 as a birthday present to myself. I walked into a pawn shop, paid $120 for it, signed a paper saying I didn't kill anyone and don't intend to (registration too so they know if I will), they brown bagged that shit and I walked out.
We also have open carry law coming literally tomorrow. Have a CCL? Holster that sidearm on your belt in plain view after November 1st. Mmmmm.
I don't have my license to carry though. Once I get my PI license I plan on getting it and then upgrading to API (Armed Private Investigator).

Where in the hell would a man find pictures of the Rover/Rolls-Royce Meteorite V8? All I can get is the Meteor V12, and there are plenty of those.

I'm not sure why, but it seems like something is wrong with your head-unit's mount. :v:
