I'm not so sure about that. The day after I turned 21, I bought my .38 as a birthday present to myself. I walked into a pawn shop, paid $120 for it, signed a paper saying I didn't kill anyone and don't intend to (registration too so they know if I will), they brown bagged that shit and I walked out. We also have open carry law coming literally tomorrow. Have a CCL? Holster that sidearm on your belt in plain view after November 1st. Mmmmm. I don't have my license to carry though. Once I get my PI license I plan on getting it and then upgrading to API (Armed Private Investigator).
I have to qualify twice a year (for shits and giggles) for the CCL shooting course... I'm not even 21, but we like to know if we would pass or not
Where in the hell would a man find pictures of the Rover/Rolls-Royce Meteorite V8? All I can get is the Meteor V12, and there are plenty of those.
Guy with Rolls-Royce comes into Autozone asking for oil for his 10K change. He doesn't even know what to use. Instead of changing it he actually wants to top off for now. Poorfag computer system doesn't even list that top-down Phantom he has. Makes a big commotion; everybody in line can't help but look over. Do they do this on purpose? You'd think with his money he'd take it to the dealer
I'm so used to driving loud shit, I don't mind a good sounding but quieter exhaust from time to time. Have you made any progress on your Volvo? Hoping you get it back together alright.
I for sure am applying to my home department is surroundings first before I venture into other states.
of course but keep Arlington in mind, if you want a professional department in a relatively safe area benefits and pay are competitive as well and don't forget about the toys you get to play with, oh and almost every officer gets a take home car I'm shooting for K-9 after I get a few years under my belt

Its not that it wouldnt be cool to become one, but its just not realistic (at least for me). I would rather stay routine patrol and then move into white-collar or computer forensics after a while. If not that, I would still be happy with routine patrol.

For example, you could be a school resource officer as they are required to be K9s here. What's nice about being a K9 officer here is you get a late model vic with really dark tint and your dog's name on it, so you're guaranteed a take home car. I don't really know at this point though. I could see being K9 as getting boring, but hey, you get a badass dog that lives with you for the rest of its life. Here pretty much every officer in the area responds to any incident, no matter what it is, or what the unit is designated to do. But yeah, I don't see being a police officer as a long term career for me, so maybe I should just stick with patrol. I just want to give back to my community for everything it's done for me over the years. I'm a computer guy with business skills, I could make a lot more money doing other things, but I am set on joining the force come my 21st birthday.

So, besides my little interest in it, it sets me apart from all the other 300 applicants when it comes to the question "Where do you see yourself in 10 years" Also. http://www.arlingtonpd.org/CAD.asp Creepy as fuck. I dont know if I want people to have access to this stuff

So after 7 hours of work changing my oil, replacing oil lines and figuring out why the fuck my car didn't get fuel anymore. I didn't get power going to the relay, I had to bypass it and the pumps would turn on, but not sound good. I replaced the relay since they go bad, 50 bucks later and nothing. Same problem. By this time I tried to start the car by bypassing it which didn't work. After that I gave up. Came back to it later, I remember looking at the schematic in the haynes telling me how the fuel system was wired in, that the relay got power through the ecu. I came back and did one simple test. Is my replacement ECU bad? Switched it out for the one I burned the injector drivers out of. First turn of the ignition the fuel pumps came back to life. Ass
