Good luck with it. I still like your red Prix better, a more attractive body style imo. Not so boaty looking.
Okay so my dad just bought another car out of nowhere :v: [/IMG] i'm happy :D
God damnit. That is SO sexy. Also, after some douche rearended my brothers 156 he ended up buying a GTV, 3 litre v6. Sounds like sex. Also loving the leather interior. So you know, I can bring more horses to the other without being left without a car for a month again.

It's how a redneck would pronounce it and I hate that. :/

What sort of technique do you guys use to clean under the hood? I want my engine bay to look like new.
What sort of technique do you guys use to clean under the hood? I want my engine bay to look like new.
Pick up my favorite engine degreaser, motomaster citrus scented one for me, because engine smells like oranges after, and clean it all by hand.
What sort of technique do you guys use to clean under the hood? I want my engine bay to look like new.
Wrap everything electrical with plastic bags. Take apart engine parts then soak everything in engine degreaser. Then scrub with wire brush rinse with distilled water

its fill up time, Gas stations all around 4.30 to 4.50 for regular. They took there price signs down so you wait in line forever then see the pump price and you pay it cause you waited in line forever and have no gas to go travel to one. We are condeming and police will start issuing closing notices. Gas Prices haven't changed for them on there invoices. Why should they gouge us.

one local idiot made me rage to no end. one guy asked if the 2jz valve cover seals would work on the 1jz and if the knock sensor where the same. I go ahead and reply that yes, both are interchangeable. then there is this dumbass who think he's a 1jz fucking expert (his engine never started in 3 years) start insulting me personnaly because "no it's not the same"... I hold it, post multiple links and threads prooving that 2jzgte valve cover gaskets can and HAS been used on the 1jz. along with KS. Now his logic is: well it's a 1jz why would you put 2jz stuff on it, and he goes on with it. fucking idiots make me rage just as in the sun will rise tomorrow and grass is green and yellow snow taste good
So my dad was explaining to me what he's going to try to do with his Manual BMW e36 318is. The car has a radiator with the tubing for automatic transmission fluid cooling. So what he's going to do is connect the fuel line through the radiator in an attempt to preheat the gasoline before entering the engine. I'm not sure what to think of this idea...
Y/N?
I'd say yes, even though I'd prefer a 240 or 740 just because it's $1000 for something with a manual transmission and tarbo

I simply laughed at his ignorance and didn't reply. I really hate when ignorant people try to be correct. I'll say, I'm not right on everything, but at least when I'm corrected I don't try and be a fucknut about it and such.
I just found something amazing. A 4400$ Plymouth Valiant Signet.
Valiant -68 with 318 + 4 speed manual with a Mr. Gasket vertical gate lever, diffad 8 3/4 axle. new gaskets, rings and bearings in the engine, keystone classic rims, pretty good tires. Rust-free. Disc brakes front, brake and power steering.
Apparently 11 owners, and it's at 229 Horsepower. What do ya think guys? Really trust you on Americans ever since you talked me out of buying one of the worst American "muscle" cars ever.
I love it, although it has a 318. If you want to DD it, or drive it without worrying about that awful of gas mileage then it'd be fine. Ups are that it has power steering and power brakes, and I'm assuming its pretty rare since its a 4 speed, so I personally would be calling that guy right now.

I don't know about the interior but if the body and insides are in vary good condition your set. I've seen a lot of old muscle cars turn into rust buckets. If you were to get it and at least keep the body and interior in tip top shape you won't lose money on it. You can always pull the engine and tranny to do an upgrade. but if the frame and body have major damage then your looking at spending a lot.
How 'bout either a Volvo 245 diesel ($1650) or 244 turbo diesel ($1290)?

Yeah, it is way closer to me (Uppsala) so I can have a friend to drive it home with/for me, and it looks better. The 245 comes with other rims than on the picture, 740 turbo is what I get then and the 244 have the ones on the picture.
Diesel? Eh.... I'd say get the turbo gas engine for simplicity.
