Fuck Accidentally applied for job that is farther away than I'd like. they email me back 2 days later to schedule an interview.
So cancel the interview? What's the problem here? And you can always go to the interview, chances are you won't get it any way. And if you do you can still turn it down if the distance remains a big issue. Oh and an update on the car front, just to keep this post slightly on topic. It looks like I am going to get the 1986 z31 I rambled about a long time ago, and also got some useful advice on from shiban. I DO really want an old American car, but even the "cheap" ones I can find are to expensive for me at the moment. So I am probably going to bet on the Nissan and pray I won't need to spend a lot on repairs. We'll see.
As I said before, get ready for suspension and electrical quirks. Aside from that you won't have a ton of problems.

Most of the time they are overlooked and thrown away. The junkyard near me has tons of 300ZX all the time. If anything, the bushings will be really worn and need replacing. Mounts. Hoses. Filters. Basic deteriorating stuff But remember this: that car is old, and with every old car you're gonna be repairing it. In the end, you will have a functional and unique car.

And my insurance will still be low, because as far as they are concerned, it's bone stock :p
Got run off the road today and put my big damn work van into a ditch. Managed to avoid ending up on it's side, thankfully. Wrecker dragged it out of the ditch and it drives fine, except the steering wheel is very off center, so obviously something got a little bent. Nice reverse dent in the side from the rack full of oxygen tanks breaking loose and going flying. The stability control light is on, which I assume is from the discrepancy between the yaw sensor and steering angle sensor. Wouldn't be surprised if I have no job tomorrow morning...
"The TV cable used with the 4L60 transmission should not be thought of an automatic downshift cable. The TV cable used on the 4L60 controls line pressure, shift points, shift feel, part throttle downshifts and the detent downshifts. The function of the cable is similar to the combined functions of a vacuum modulator and a detent cable."
Yeah, lets just make it as cheap as possible. [editline]27th November 2012[/editline] Tempting, but I bet shipping on that much ATF would be a bitch. http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/catalog/catalog_inc/viewitem.php?ITEMID=678

That looks like a good deal for a flush kit, but yeah, shipping.
When I click add to cart nothing happens. :(
Thinking about dropping out of uni... not even the supra bring peace to my mind
Thinking about dropping out of uni... not even the supra bring peace to my mind
Dont do it, rest of your adult life can be decided by uni.
Just keep pushing through, I'm hoping to get into the local community college soon. It's the only way I'm ever going to get out of this shit hole I live in. You'll regret it later on.

I hate people who goes all : don,t do it. bitch, if I'm thinking about probably dropping, it's because I have a fuck ton of reason and personnal matter pushing me that way even when I think about the advantages. anyway, at this moment I'm a tech in mechanical engineering, I can earn a decent salary and drop the stress by a gigantic amount
Guys, you aren't forced to have a uni or college degree to earn good in life. There are those studies you can do that focus right on the job... Like I did. Sure you don't begin at a huge sallary, depending on what you do, but it's fast to get, and fun. Took me a year to get my Protection and Development of Wildlife Habitats diploma, and scored a job before even being done with the class. SURE I don't have the biggest pay, but working for the government when you're 18 is a good thing. But I agree that my kind of class won't make me super rich, but is sure gonna make me have a decent life. And with those funky type of studies, you can change career anytime you wish. Thermal, do what you and only you feel like would be the best it's your life and you sure know how to handle and what YOU would want. Being overly stressed will mess a bunch of things in the long run too.
Exhaust manifolds are scary. Burned my arm today on one, fucker singed off my arm hairs even though the car had been off for about 5-10 minutes and it only made contact with my arm for a millisecond

Speaking personally, I'd give just about anything to go back to school. I've got stress at work, my workload has quadrupled in the last 4 months, the manager keeps wanting more and more, stress at home, dad decided to spend Thanksgiving with his new girlfriend, mom is a wreck, drinking and smoking, not to mention my cousin..also I'm an idiot and bought a POS supra, and my truck is down for the moment. I'd way rather do school.
if you can, always goto college. theres literally no reason to not have a higher education and a degree
if you can, always goto college. theres literally no reason to not have a higher education and a degree
As my dad said, the most valuable thing in my aunt's jewelry store is her MIT degrees.
I knew I was forgetting a car company in my search!
Exhaust manifolds are scary. Next day went on vacation to Cancun. While snorkeling, another swimmer kicked my arm and tore off the scab in the salt water. Hurt like a bitch!
If that is anything like previous Mitsubishis, it will fall apart within 10 years and maintenance is going to be really expensive. I still have no idea why you are after any of those cars... I am looking on carmax right now, you could get a WRX, Porsche Boxter, RX8, Miata, Golf GTI, Mustang GT, Camaro, Genisis, Civic SI, Sentra Spec V, 350Z. But instead you want to get a economy car with some sporty body panels on it for the same price. :v:
already got rid of the heatshield underneath on my cat converter, Can't wait to get rid of the headshield over the stock headers
Was leaving school today I've noticed my exhaust actually has a nice tone and rumble. When it backfires and sputters is the fucking best.
After i get my headers installed next step is single to dual exhaust, Dual flowmaster 44's for deep rumble (I hate that high pitch noise cars make, usually hondas or ricers)

It's more like you can have more out of life if you did. Why stop now when you know you are capable of heights you may not see today? It's about patience and virtue; you can take the easy route now and later regret it. I am an example. These past three years I've been stuck in limbo, trying to scrounge up enough money after highschool for a class or two at the local community college. Trying to save for a car. Working my ass off, living in my parent's house. All the while my fellow high school graduates have already earned a degree. My friend already with an engineering degree. Another in business and another in design. Fuck would I love to be in a university. Look at it in a different perspective. But who are we to you anyway...
As much as I love full time micro center, I want to move into politics and I want to have some kind of human resource degree or typical business degree. This spring after blowing more money on my car working full time ill be working on my campaign and then going to school in starting spring.
Used tire machine fucking pro skills rite here yo Now I've got to clean up the wheel and update my CL ad
ooh! which engine?
The non-turbo one. I do believe it's 3.0 v6. I might be mistaken however.
I swear I never seen a Pontiac GTO in that TV series before. Not until now.
