I remember last year I would always be slidin through stop signs in areas that didn't get plowed often, it got cold as balls so the ice would get pretty thick. Even ended up sliding through a traffic light just as it turned red

hey, if anyone is gonna get reported it should be the government not plowing streets n shit
the government didn't make you slide through the stops, physics did report physics
fuck this lets go all the way im reporting existence itself to the police
I love my GP in the winter, from a Grand Prick in the summer to a Great Plow in the winter. Shit is FWD, but does handle better than a few bunch o 4x4. Never had a single problem in winter with it. The only thing I had with it in the winter is it drowning in gas at -42c for some reasons.
What is the general thought of a carbon fibre hood on a silver car? For example: Does it look bad? I think it would look alright with some decent aftermarket headlights, but I can't decide if I like it or not. I'm currently deciding whether to buy a black or silver vehicle and I eventually want to put on a carbon hood.

FR cars need traction and weight to the rear so weight reduction on the engine front is essential. On a front-wheel-drive car like that Toyota Celica, it is the same but not as effective since you actually need the weight on the front for traction. Usually they're contructed with a fiberglass or FRP material to reduce weight. Please don't be ricer status and do a hood-scoop with no actual engine modding involved necessitating the use of engine venting. It's not like that Celica has an oil cooler or front mount intercooler set up with a turbo system for that overkill scoop. Oh cock don't buy that Celica and mod it like that please, there's so much more to see out there :/ Bought a Koyo alum radiator but the cashier guy took it out of the box to show me and he bent some fins with his fingers. Should I march back up there tomorrow and demand exchange? Theres like 5 spots where the fins were pushed in :(
Most of the time it screams rice. /In my opinion. And Celica's like that are hairdressers car.
well shit super gt i planned to watch got replaced with f1 what's worse, i can't remember the time and day
So uh, should I get this exchanged for a newer one or no? I feel embarassed going to the candystore complaining about bent fins:
Welp, checking on another motor tomorrow. The worn out old D16 in my Civic bombed on me tonight, she let loose a rod cap and spit a bearing all over the place. So fack. I knew it was coming, it had been dropping oil pressure on me for a while now under low idle.
Just ordered some sweet tires for a small fortune.

If it's just what I can see in the picture you really shouldn't since you'll probably bump the fan into it and probably bend a few yourself just taking it out of the bag or something. You could also buy a radiator fin comb and fix those afaik, some bent fins aren't going to affect performance or anything though.
Goddamn. Driving my 98' metro, clutch suddenly feels way fucked Take to mechanic, apparently it needs a new one... despite the clutch being "new" according to the guy I bought it from a year ago. $860 to fix... Just not worth it. Especially since I know I need to replace both front axles soon as I creak loudly when turning certain directions. And I've already put about $1,100 on the car in the past year alone... I really need to bail ship. Too bad I really don't have the money. Its like if I don't bail I'm stuck with a moneypit of a car and if I do I have to buy a new car. The worst part is literally nobody is selling any decent ones around here (so its not like I can just swap it out), and the other car I was looking at (honda CRX) has either no results or only ricer/shit cars. I don't suppose anyone knows of any other fuel efficent cars for cheap? Metro and CRX's are the only ones I know of and just my luck nobody is interested in selling hardly any near me.

Festivas will have really low MPGs but have questionable reliability, and CRX HFs are difficult to find in good condition. If you're willing to compromise on gas a bit, I'd say just grab a cookie cutter Civic/Camry/Accord/etc.
Fuck my High-school, Fuck the police officer, and I love the security guard. We have a parking permit policy, where we have to pay to park for the year. I did not purchase a permit, because I didn't have the money. I was told I would be issued one warning, and then a week after the warning, I would be issued a ticket. Today, I walked out to my car, and there is a $100 ticket sitting on my windshield. I was never issued a warning, so I've been trying to fight it. The office ladys got pissy with me, the cop told me to go away. A security guard gave me the $20 for a pass, which was very very nice of him, and I love him to death now. Im going to fight this ticket hard until it gets ripped up, because that should have never happened. I should have got a fucking warning goddamnit. /vent
I got 7 parking tickets at my high school last year. I was known as the asshole who parks where he wants, and don't give no fucks. It was hilarious. There is no student parking, so I would just park in the teacher lot. I would also park on the end of the row outside of the parking lines. I knew I would get a ticket just for being in the lot, so I was like fuck it I'm parking where I want.
If I wouldn't have been given the $20 for a pass, I would have starting parking in our Auto-shop parking lot.
when i was in school, there were too many kids with cars attending the school so they would "raffle off" parking permits starting with the Seniors and working down to the Freshmen (they never made it to freshmen, hell when i was a senior they never even made it through the senior class), it cost like $40 for the permit for the year. i never got a pass, even when i had a car i had to park 15 minutes down the road and walk to school. kinda glad i never got a pass, though. there was pretty much an accident every day when i was walking out to my car. fucking nobody at that school could drive. anyways, i wish i had $2000 right now. i'd go buy a second beetle ($1500 on CL, it has been up there for a couple months and they keep reposting, probably get it for $1000-$1200) and a second engine (~$600 on CL) and start the mass hoarding of old VW stuff. sadly, i only have about $500 and i have to make next month's truck payment so even by the end of the month i'll only have another $6-700 after rent/truck payment/insurance edit: and this fucking morbidly obese immature fuckhead not only got his parking pass free, he got it guaranteed junior and senior year because he "had asthma" and it's like fuck you you have asthma, you're just stupid fat you fuck. he was proud about the fact he could eat a whole large pizza alone and that he was going to get diabetes like both his parents fuck
If I wouldn't have been given the $20 for a pass, I would have starting parking in our Auto-shop parking lot.
I actually still parked in the auto shop's backlot once in a while, even with the parking pass. That way I don't have to spend the 30 minutes it takes to get out of the fucking parking lot, waiting for these kids to pull six point turns out of their parking spots. Apparently we're not allowed to park back there, but i was bro with the auto tech teachers, so they didn't really give a fuck. they even let me do work on my car in class instead of the actual class projects lol.
My school situation is a little special: I'm at one school three days a week and another two days a week. At the one I'm at the most, there's no rules for parking - park pretty much wherever you want to. The other one just has a rule that forbids you to park where the teachers park, other than that it's free and you don't have to follow any other rules. (except no driving on school property, aka where the teachers park)
why is it so hard to find a 5 speed manual 90s Silverado these days. [editline]2nd October 2012[/editline] i mean who couldn't like this nice looking dash board!
Wow I got ripped off in High School, 70 bucks per parking pass. At least at College, parking is free, and so are the passes.
being harrassed by my ex. I have enough of that bitch harrassing me for months!
This is why you should avoid girls! Ehhmh.. :v:
In all seriousness, if anyone of you guys go to the scrapyard someday and come across a USA-front for a Volvo 740, I am willing to buy it because those are so fucking rare here in Sweden. [t]http://f2.braxupload.se/tc4w3t.jpg[/t]
Most of the time it screams rice. /In my opinion. And Celica's like that are hairdressers car.
Yeah tons of people tell me its a girls car. I was looking at this one: It doesn't look too bad in my opinion. At least compared to the normal/factory look. I don't really know what else is out there. I was thinking of a honda prelude or Integra, but literally 1 in 5 cars where I live is a integra, prelude or civic.
