It's been snowing in the copenhagen area for the last past 3-4 days. get on my level
There's enough snow here to go snowmobiling. I busted a primary ignition coil on mine on my first ride this friday though. Oddly enough it was brand new, only been running for an hour max.
GOD FUCKING DAMNIT! THE SNOW FELL TODAY! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!
snow owns
yeah exactly, snow owns cars. I don't know about over there, but here they spray the roads with road salt, which sticks on the cars and makes them rust to shit. fuck i hate this country
It's been snowing in the copenhagen area for the last past 3-4 days. get on my level
Jeg bor i Lyngby, og jeg har været i København de sidste 4 dage, og der har ikke været noget sne.
my car is already rusted to shit so I don't really care as long as I can patch it up enough to pass inspection
The thing is though, my Civic has never ever driven in the winter. I'm taking it's winter virginity because I can't afford to drive a beater this year. it kills me to be honest.
Get proper rust protection on it and you'll be fine
It has, but still. Civic's rust like shit in the rear fenders. I've taken all the precautions I can, but it still sucks huge balls
hopefully hours away from getting my grandmother's car towed and fixed up (and later sold) going to flip shit if it doesn't happen again
Could wash the underside of the car every time you get home if you really want to keep it from rusting through. Time consuming yes but it works.

I feel lucky. Only like 1cm of snow on my car and nothing on the ground (yet). But it's -13 degrees :c
you also have like 3 cars so you can just store ze beetle in the winter
One that isn't running or registered :v:
Could wash the underside of the car every time you get home if you really want to keep it from rusting through. I've also heard that it's a bad idea to wash the car underneath, because it lodges the salt, and it's better to just let it be untill I'm sure that they don't salt the roads anymore. [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] I could wash it in a gas station ofcourse, but the cheapest wash is 13 dollars, and that adds up if you have to do that every day
One decal I want is this one I love McRae
I just want to get the Auto Addicts' opinion on this. I have an '86 Monte Carlo LS that I intend to full restore and mod just a tiny bit. One of said mods is refitting it with gull wing doors as shown here: I do NOT intend to have the hood and front end done like that, just the doors.

Gullwing doors are fine until some asshole inevitably parks a foot away and prevents you from even opening the door.

No no no nononono. They ONLY look good on that one Mercedes-Benz 300SL. But as I said, my thought and opinion.
Gullwing doors are fine until some asshole inevitably parks a foot away and prevents you from even opening the door.
I thought half the point of gull wing (and other wing doors) was that they have a much smaller required clearance to open than traditional doors. A DeLorean's door only needs 14 inches.
I can think of three cars were the gullwing doors are "ok". 300SL, SLS and the DeLorean. those cars are a godsend.
sls is sex
sls is sex
they have one for sale at the place where my father bought his C-Class. There was an SLR last year. [t]http://i.imgur.com/cY1Ud.jpg[/t] if you have 609,000 USD, then you can buy it. yes, it costs that much because of silly danish regulations.
hopefully hours away from getting my grandmother's car towed and fixed up (and later sold) going to flip shit if it doesn't happen again
apparently a car has to be street legal to not be on the street the car's registration expired a few months ago so it's no longer street legal, they won't tow it WHAT THE FUCK, I'M GOING TO FUCKING SHOOT SOMEONE IN THE HEAD
Where in the fuck is the Bricklin SV-1 love? Anyone who knows me or my posts very well knows that I got to see one of these in its final form -- stripped of a lot of parts and likely to be sold for scrap bits. I still have the large, steel emblem off of the rear that says BRICKLIN. Truly an awesome car, made of fiberglass and wood. Were one ever cheap enough, I would likely buy it, but they are rare enough that I'll be lucky if I ever hear someone say the name again.
The photos above me just enforce the "Car + Gull Wing = SEXY" formula.
Honestly I don't think they fit the G-body, it's much too boxy. I could see gullwings pulled off on, perhaps an Isuzu Piazza/Impulse, Dodge Daytona, or something else wedgey. But any g-body is just.... a box.

Driving to work this morning was almost too dangerous for me. Fog so thick you couldn't see 50ft ahead of you...
