Under $5500, good MPGs, fun to drive. Now isn't exactly the best time to look for a car in new york either -- too many flood cars.
i dont even think the person looking for a car lives in NY guys :v:
Skunk 2 Lower control Arms
Is it just me or does Skunk 2 just sound like some dumb low quality product that everyone buys cause it's cheap? I don't know anything about the product but it just sounds like some knock-off to me, by the name.
i dont even think the person looking for a car lives in NY guys :v:
I am just really giving examples. He's not even looking for a car right now. [editline]3rd December 2012[/editline]
Is it just me or does Skunk 2 just sound like some dumb low quality product that everyone buys cause it's cheap? I don't know anything about the product but it just sounds like some knock-off to me, by the name.
Skunk2 started life as a no-name brand, but they make some respectable and good quality parts now. Their LCAs, intake manifolds, and from what I've seen their connecting rods, are of quality and not too cheaply made. About on-par with CXracing stuff (which people ALSO love to hate on, despite it being some of the best bang for your buck you can get). I have owned some of their springs and some cheap ebay springs, and compared, the Skunk2 ones ride like absolute shit and I will never buy another set of those.
I live nowhere near NY :v: But yeah, I just wanted a general idea of what to get. Also, is this good? http://denver.craigslist.org/ctd/3446455730.html Yeah it's double my budget, but I can just finance it or save up for it and try to squeeze every penny out of my current car :v:
dunno if its not loading for me but that listing has no pics, If the person isn't assed enough to put pics i wouldn't buy from them. This 00' camaro for 5k in "pristine" condition. I go there and then thats why i say the above from now on
There are pictures, dunno why it's not loading for you Try this: http://www.gridlot.com/fs/1hsqhw/2pbkellbi/9aicm/7xticecyajd/9qhqk/7wmige#
Eh, it's kind of..... Boring. And mileage is rather mediocre.

But comparing to the mileage of what he's considering, the only things worse off are the Supras and the RX7.
So I was fucking around in the Seattle yesterday and after failing to break into Valve's offices I was driving home on the 405 when I noticed that when I used the wipers my tach would wig out. Curious, I tried it a few more times when I noticed that in the process the green lamp on the dash that says the running lights are on was dimming each time as well. Then I noticed that the illumination on the RF gauge on my CB was dim as hell. Everything was telling me that the power was running low but the regulator/alternator circuit lamp had not come on. I began switching off the stereo and radios in an attempt to fix it but now the tack was pure and simply useless. She was dying. For some reason the battery was no longer being kept topped up and everything in the car began to shut down over the next ten minutes. First the lights, then the ABS shut down, then I lost all my gauges but my speedometer and I had still yet to pull over because fuck that, I was on the interstate. Pulled into Lynwood searching desperately for a shop or something and by now I couldn't even keep the car at idle. Minimum 2K engine rev or the thing would sputter. Pulled onto highway 99 and floored it and there was just nothing there and it finally died (and NOW the fault light came on) and I coasted into a parking lot. None of the surrounding shops had an alternator and none could install it before closing late on a Saturday afternoon so I ended up having to walk to a hotel and spend the night. Ended up having my dad drive seven hours and across the border with a new alternator/voltage regulator and some tools. Took about 45 minutes to swap. Gave the car a jump and everything sprung back to life.
nice turbo's
nice turbo's
I'm sorry, can't you see those are spark plugs?
http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3353777294.html Ohh god yes.. Yes... ;_; I want...
Man that is nice for the price. [editline]3rd December 2012[/editline] Also, what about a cherokee, not bad fuel mileage but not really good, cheap abundant parts, good looking, I love 'em imo. Still have yet to post more pictures of mine though.
I'm sorry, can't you see those are spark plugs?
when I was little I thought they were starter motors :v:
I'm sorry, can't you see those are spark plugs?
lolwut theyre fuel pumps
thats the overflow for the coolant
Also, what about a cherokee, not bad fuel mileage
The lightest 2WD model is rated for about 20, that's not exactly great in essentially a useless vehicle (No 4WD, no pickup bed, what would you even use it for? It can't go anywhere and won't haul anything). 4WD and a manual can squeeze out 16-17 if it's running great and isn't terribly worn out (Good luck finding one like that for any less than what you'd pay for the equivalent anything better). You still paid way too much for yours, Valon. :( [editline]3rd December 2012[/editline]
nice turbo's

I'm sorry, can't you see those are spark plugs?

lolwut theyre fuel pumps

thats the overflow for the coolant
You guys seriously don't know what a SUPERCHARGER looks like? Come on, the left is obviously a stage 3 and the right is a stage 2. He upgraded so now he can run like 100 PSI with NOS.
guys, if my textbook is correct, I think we're looking at the headlights [editline]3rd December 2012[/editline]
thank god, now i know exactly how those people died. whhhew would not have been able to sleep tonight [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] rip jeep grand cherokee
its actually a black Tahoe. do you even know cars

(Happens when it has over half a tank)

Drove a lorry for the first time last friday, was really fun! Really enjoying school :D

Still bad but way better than going cold is better than overheating, in my opinion. In all cases the best option is to replace it.
it's not closing and when the outside temps is -20C it's quite annoying. also why fuck with it and go all gettho heatsoacking the coolant when i can replace it for 24$ but I just don't have the time... well
If you have the time to skip school, watch pokemon, and post here, you have the time to replace the thermostat.

It'll just take a moment and the car will be so much better!
